yes it has been hard, but I still have my DS and DH and all in all I can be content, but 2 chemical miscarriages and 4 miscarriages now... I just have to hope that it will happen for us. But if not I am going to try and learn to be content and happy with that I have in life x

It must be harder for my Husband, as I already have a child x

Lou - can you bung the dirolyte in his normal juice? If he won't take it then I'd just stick with the fluids he WILL drink. It's far more important he gets some fluid in him at the expense of not taking dirolyte.

Will he eat yoghurt? Probiotic one? He's lactose intolerant isn't he? A Soya yoghurt might help him restore the balance of good bacteria in his digestive system. Ripe bananas are good too but they have to be ripe.

Feel for you, not been a good few months for you xxx If it continues though don't be fobbed off, he's too little to be going through this so often.

julieg - Hugs for you lovely xxx Sounds like a really difficult time for you and your H at the moment xxx

OK he's taking the odd sip of water.......I know it's difficult but you need to encourage him to sip more often. OK big gulps ain't gonna happen but little and often. Can you put it in a fancy cup with a straw, something he wouldn't normally be drinking from to encourage him.

    Morning All ,

Must admit have kind of skim read through the thread and not taken a great deal in - I'm soooooo tired.

    JulieG - bless you xx
Loulou - what a worrying time for you. Hope things get sorted soon

Had another terrible night last night - have identified a couple of culprits though; my Dad seems to be getting up at the same time every night to go to the loo and when he waks past our room in the dark, he brushes the wall next to my head! Must coincide with me being in a lighter stage of sleep because it's woken me up a couple of times now. Also, DH seems to start snoring at around the same time every night so need to invest in a decent poking stick to shut him up with... ;)

Anyway, OS today is likely to be very limited as I can barely spell my own name, let alone think about things that need doing!

Hugs to all in need/want xx

    Morning all!

Hester - good luck today, sounds like management are passing the buck yet again!

RR - good luck again to dd and honorary dd!

Loulou - your poor ds, don't be fobbed off by the doc, sounds a bit more worrisome than a simple bug, hope that he gets better soon xx

Cheapskate - hugs about yr sis's dog xx

Well it's raining here, quite hard too, girls not best pleased, dd3 found her umbrella, but dd1 has her yearbook photo today, and dd2 was up early faffing about with her hair (after having it cut at the weekend she was keen to show it off!), so neither of the elder two are impressed! I'm pooped as spudette spent the night dancing and it kept me awake, lovely to feel her moving about though, and I'm off work today so may fit in a nap later!

Went to see Limitless with my best friend last night, the first 20 mins or so were quite good, but then it all went rather downhill, so possibly one to wait for the dvd if anyone was thinking of seeing it! Did use the 40% off Odeon vouchers though, so was £10 for two of us, not bad for an evening out! Also had some very good news, best friend is now properly seeing an old friend of ours, which is lovely as he was involved for a very short while with a woman who seemed a little bit batty and scary! He seems much more settled and happy, and best of all she is already a friend, so there is none of the complicated nonsense and explanations needed that can arise from having a best friend of the opposite sex!

OS stuff for today is going to involve a good fling of rubbish, squishing up lots of cardboard boxes ready for recycling day tomorrow, which will save me petrol going to the tip, organising my meal plan - have the right amount of food, just need to sort out the order it'll be served in, and exactly what form the mince and the sausages will be taking! Must also make a note to get a joint of pork or a couple of chooks out of the freezer for Mother's Day lunch! Will also be ploughing on with washing, a good wipe down in the sitting room (dd3 and her friends were munching fruit and have left sticky finger marks everywhere!), and a S&S of the kitchen!

Lunches: ham sarnies on very seedy bread, told dd3 that I'd used extra sunflower seeds just because she likes them so much, in reality my hand slipped as I chucked them in the BM! Clems and plums, lemon cake and cheese.

Dinner: cauli cheese with potato dauphinoise, and possibly the sausages for the kids, salad and crusty bread. Pudding may well be choc fudge cake if I get myself organised, as I have some double cream in the fridge that would go rather nicely with it!

Have a good day all xxx

he had fun sucking it from a syringe but then the novelty wore off... he's just nodded off so will try and get a little bit in him while he asleep. he kept after the cucumber of all things, i'm guessing becuase it was watery. so let him have that if he wants it.

you would think with all the problems he's had over the past few months, the drs would take him more seriously wouldnt you? :(

Hi Julie G I wondered where you had got to. So sorry your having a tough time. I think like a few of us on here I had multiple miscarriages too and ended up with four healthy babies. Don't give up hope hun, I am sure it will happen for you (((hugs)))
Book wise I just couldn't cope with Eve so am currently reading Born in Shame, Have read Maggies story already, this is the one about Murphy and Shannon, just need to get the one about Bri, am loving it though:D

Lou I went through something very similar with my youngest, I was so worried about his weight I went to the docs and ended up pulling his trousers down and saying"look how thin his bottom is" oh my goodness it makes me laugh now but I was frantic at the time. Needless to say it passed, he started eating better and stopped being ill so much and is now a strapping 14 yrold, but I know what a worrying time it can be. I don't think I could not feed him either, I would let him eat what he fancies and just hope the sickness and upset tummy pass, which they will, good luck hun

Washing on the line but not moving around much, fingers crossed its dry.
Just applied the third coat to the box room, honestly its only a little room but its been like painting the forth bridge. Hopefully that will be it and I can put the new bedding on tonight which is my favourite bit:D

he wont drink anything like that. we tried flat lemonade as as lot of people say thats good but he refused outright. he's taking the odd sip of water but thats it

I was going to suggest lemonade but I don't make it flat as mine don't drink it flat they prefer fizzy. Also try turning it in to lolly pops as he may eat those. Or I have made blackcurrent squash up using lemonade instead of water when one of mine refused everything.
