What new car to get??

I did get the basic one - it's up to you if you can live without A/C, central locking and a slightly fancier interior. At this end of the market I don't see the point in the higher specs because they start to get towards nearly new Fiesta/Corsa money.
The 1.1 isn't worth the extra money at all.0 -

That's exactly what I needed to know. was thinking of going for the 1.1, but the 1.0 will probably perform better than my 12 yr old 1.1 saxo0 -
1.1 only has an extra 3bhp so personally I don't see the point in spending the extra, the 1.0 is fine performance wise. By all means test drive both (I didn't)0

Get a Vauxhall for the lifetime (100k) warranty, a Hyundai 5 year warranty, Kia's 7 years on some models, Chevy 5 years, Toyota 5 years. Then all you have to worry about is fuel, insurance, servicing and tyres. Everything else should be covered by the warranty. The man without a signature.0

the hyundia i10 could also be a good call, little bit more expensive than the picanto but according to offical figures is more economical and also faster than the picantoDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Get a new car OP if you've got the cash, you won't regret it. The 40% depreciation hit on a new car is worth it over sitting in some fat, sweaty, middle aged balding blokes' beans/snot/bum crust.0
