Serif were giving PagePlus away for free a few months ago in the Telegraph or Mail or something. I missed the offer by about a week, only spotted it when I went to line the wife's guinea pigs' hutch with the newspaper!
I was going to phone them and ask them about giving me a free copy, as I've just started editing the newsletter for a local branch of a national charity. But now I don't need to bother, as I picked up my Computer Shopper at lunchtime!0 -

Quark for £3.50! Great tip! All installed and working.
Thanks. :T
Just got to learn how to use it now
By way of making a contribution - you can download CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) free from http://www.ccleaner.com/
It really does tidy up your machine - including deletion of intrusive cookies
I'm always suspicious of free software - but this works.0 -

Mmmn, just tried it and it seems ok, but the interface is odd and I think overall Primo with a firewall seems the easiest. I will try Cute, Primo and Creator some more and report back!0 -

I was going to get this a while back, but their forum (I think it was this program) were having fits because it was removing some essential files! Do some research before you deploy it!0 -
Some more tutorials here:

I think this is for v4 rather than v5 but I worked through the Tech Manual tutorial and had no problems with my v5.0 -

Hmmm, that's new- we used this successfully for about 6 months but upgraded to a cheap paid-for app (Neevia docuPrinter LT if you're interested) because we wanted hyperlinks from Word documents. Bad move on their part to bundle this - seems the regular users aren't too impressed either. Consider my recommendation withdrawn!

I'd get in quick though. The newsagents around here have run out already.0 -
Mr_Squiddy wrote:Numpty answers own question. CutePDF Writer can be used. It installs as a printer driver and all you do is go to File->Print... and select 'CutePDF Writer'. Easy.0

Does anyone know if you get this PC-version cd or dvd of Quark 5, can you then upgrade to Quark 7 for a Mac, or would it have to be the PC version again? And is it really worth getting the DVD over the CD?
Thankyou,
Jo0
