Perhaps a new thread on why people prefer to work hundreds of hours a week in a dead beat job with all the stress of commuting, deadlines, boss from hell, no recognition, no budgets to do anything with, legislation coming out your ears, petty rules, regulations, and at the end of the month no disposable income at all to show for your strife or
hmmmm
I see your point but that's a bit of an extreme example- personally I would prefer to do what I do each day - walk the 10 mins to work, do an interesting job I enjoy and get recognition for, go to conferences, chat to and have a laugh with colleagues I (mainly) consider friends, get the odd few minutes to mess about on t'interweb, slope of to the pub at 4pm on the odd Friday and get paid a decent wage- than to have strangers wandering round my house. But as has been said before, each to their own

Enlighten me why it's interesting?
Because you (like some others in this thread) chose to focus on the ever increasing "name calling" i.e outing supposed trolls, rather than some of the other issues being discussed
However that probably is just my interest in human nature rather than something that is genuinely "interesting" as you say0 -
I'm just as bad that I came back to check that you're still fighting. I might as well troll this thread too.
Bump.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Well I had put her down as a troll from the outset so do not believe any of the content was true so not worthy of discussion.
What is worthy is why people deem it necessary to make up stories and crate a persona on the Internet to live out a fantasy. Now THAT is the human nature story.0 -

Actually I'm not sure it is all that extreme or unusual. I know loads of people who hate their jobs and have no alternative but to stick them out.
You don't want ' strangers wandering around my house' but thats not the case with OP, she doesn't mind. She has said they are seldom there and in a lot of cases strangers can become good friends.
As you say though each to their own.:beer:0 -
I'm out of this thread now. See you all in the real threads where we can actually help people.
It will be interesting to see if the OP stays around to provide advice on here like most of us have been doing for years.0 -

Where's the evidence she is creating a persona and living out a fantasy. He story is not so ' far out' as to be unfeasible surely.:beer:0 -
Gwhiz, you (and a couple of others) cannot be that patronising, surely?
It's not patronizing, it's true. I thought you had been here long enough to distinguish between "valued" members who help and "easy come, easy go newbies" who are here to make a noise.
We shall have to agree to disagree. Trolls have the aim of creating tension and disharmony in otherwise helpful forums and I would hate for that to happen here so will bow out as I said above.0
