It's in the title - "how I made £200k"0 -
I was rather hoping this could be inspiration to your next book:Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045
Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 20370 -
Superduperlandlady got so much hassle for one simple reason. It all comes down to what your mother taught you when you were a child, if you remember she said "its rude to talk about money" simple isnt it.0

So that means everyone on MSE is being rude, especially Martin as that is all he talks about.0 -
Those who boast about how much they have got, you knew exactly what i meant. consider what i said to be inspirational and then everything will be fine.
You don't get it do you? This is an anonymous forum which is why the OP felt she could tell her story in the way she did. I don't think she would tell anyone but her close friends in real life because she isn't "rude".
Unfortunately, as a first time poster, she rose to the bait of a small vocal minority. If you look through the thread, she got lots of positive reactions but as in real life, there were a few people who couldn't cope with someone having more luck than themselves and had to pick holes in everything. There are always going to be people like that and she should have just ignored them, however I am pleased she answered them as it meant that her thread go many more views (nearly 4,000 in 2 days). So the vocal minority who baited her actually gave her more exposure which is great.0 -

Oh i get it alright, some woman who refers to herself as super landlady was born at the right time which enabled her to buy cheap housing and then got a bit of compo and bought a bigger house and then rented some rooms out for the exact amount of money that she told everyone she was getting, there was no need for her to go into detail about how much accidental profit she made and continues to make, she could have quite easily told her story without mentioning pound notes. but then i suppose its not as inspirational to talk about percentages is it.0 -
fair play to the OP, and I wish her well, but I don't get how it can count as inspirational. No one can be inspired by it because it cannot be repeated in the current climate, and is unlikely to be plausible for a good while to come. OP, just admit it's a boast and I'll wish you well and be on your way (assuming you can be a bit less condascending towards those less fortunate)I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

Well, obviously you don't get it! What part of "anonymous forum" do you not understand??? If she was talking to someone at work, she would probably give percentages, but she doesn't need to on an anonymous fourum.0
