Just collecting Wed's list.
Had lunch and kitchen looking good again - table cleared and wiped. Washing up done.
May have to limit each of the remaining days' lists to 1/2 hour as a sunny garden is calling me...0 -

Hello peeps
Just popping in to say hello and pass congratulations to grateful on the safe arrival of Thomas and my sympathies to Jojo for having a daughter exactly like mine (who has just turned 12 - not sure how old yours is) I know it isnt constructive help but for me just knowing its not just my daughter is a relief!
Havent been doing any deep cleaning but just managing to keep on top of things. Spending far too much time still sitting down in the evenings watching TV but having to as the anaemia is biting back at me again despite sticking to my diet. Need to get back to it though as we are hosting Frnch students again from next week so dont want her to think we live in some kind of a sty (well only DD). Looking to decorate DD's room again in the Easter hols so she better keep it clean then.
Anyway I'm rambling.
Love and hugs to all

Congratulations Grateful
I have a nearly clean house for the first time since the start of February :j. Just the Dining Room of Doom to finish and it is all done. The sun is shining and the garden has been calling me all day but I have resisted, and I need to cook birthday dinner for DS1 shortly so running out of time.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Congratulations Grateful to you and your OH and welcome to the world baby Thomas
Sexymouse Hope you have a lovley Marriagemoon.
Jojo (((Hugs))) Sound like she is going out of her way to wind you up, I'd do what Pigpen suggested.
Not much going on today except trying to do the mountain of washing, (which means there will be a mountain of ironing tomorrow) but I have no idea where it all came from as Ive been going in and checking bedrooms for washing daily.
OH has gone mountain biking and DD has been grounded after coming in completely plastered last night and virtually unable to walkSo as well as being grounded for a month with no phone or internet access, she has also helped with my dilema of how I will keep on top of the flying when I return to work as she will be becoming the house elf whilst grounded.
OH also woke her bright and early this morning to take the dog for a walk with him and she was on poop scooping duties and has not been allowed any pain killers for the hangover and she is feeling _pale_."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. Right, that's it. Done all I intend to. The house looks lovely.
However, the garden is looking lovelier so that's where I'm heading.
Hope to be back next week - failing that, it'll be next weekend again!! Have a great weekend everyone...0 -
