    Ninth Anniversary
Congratulations to Grateful on birth of your son Thomas- lovely news.

Hope all with colds etc soon feel better.

Have cleaned out GP and slowly clearing the table off. I just get sooo angry as everyone dumps things on it as soon as its cleared so always looks a mess. oh well !

Hubby went into work for about an hour three hours ago I was waiting for him to come home before I had some thing to eat but cant wait any longer , then I think I'll have a nap as really tired.

    Have a good day all.

big hugs, my boys are the same they'll pull all pj's out just to get the ones they want and throw the rest on the floor. Same with there cupboards and toys.

Don't laugh but my DH does it - will turn out a whole drawer to get to what he wants, take it and leave everything else on the floor. Needless to say it drives me insane :mad::mad::mad:

Jojo, sorry to hear you're having troubles, not sure what to suggest but wanted to say I'm thinking of you.

Flying wise, decluttered lunch and got bits and bobs to do - rather vague but there you go!

Grateful what lovely news, congratulations. Take your time to enjoy him as he won't be little for long, welcome to Thomas :D

Jo my initial thoughts are make her clear up and tell her your house and acceptable behaviour rules and the consequences of not following them. Don't let discussions turn into slanging matches and make sure that you spend time together doing things that you both enjoy. Very easy to say but not always easy to put into practise I know. The emphasis has to be on fun stuff as much as rule adherence for all your sakes.

Grateful - congratulations and welcome Thomas - my third is a Thomas and he's lovely. Enjoy every minute of these first few precious weeks xxx

JoJo - hugs is all I can offer and a square of my dairy milk x

Sexy get well vibes for you and have a wonderful time

Town was manic, full of people buying over priced flowers which are far too far out and will last all of 2 days at a push

Going to put the washing on line, reload and see what needs doing outside - may do the horrible job of re-edging the front border

I have cleared two boxes out of the understair cupboard...:T:T:T

One is full of paperwork and needs to be filed/shredded -:T and the other is full of toys which can be rehomed.

Shoe rack which has been cluttering the dining room has now been rehomed to the understair cupboard next to the coat hooks where it should be.

Have decluttered the washing machine several times and is now blowing nicely on the line - no, my pegs dont match ;)

Have filled the bin with detrius from the garage, so need to do it a run to the tip with some rubbish... :/

Have decluttered a BBQ which was collected by ebayer today...

All in all - a much better week than last.

sorry I havent caught up with the thread, but am hoping you are all well.

Love n hugs as required especially for Toots and LL - Piggers can have tea instead xx

Well I've had a completely wasted week, no flying done at all, as I've been laid up with a stomach bug. Well the toilet's been cleaned about a hundred times but that's it :o So will gradually get my energy back and join in on Monday.

Jojo - how old is she? I agree with pigpen, I'd turn the tables on her and do nothing. I've told my son who is eleven this May that if his washing isn't in the washing basket then it won't get washed. Why should I (and you) pick their dirty washing off the floor as if they were toddlers? When she goes to get dressed for school and there is only dirty stuff she'll soon get the message. As far as her personal hygiene goes I'd ignore it, she's doing it to wind you up and it's working ;) Ignore the behaviour and hopefully she'll wash eventually. Her friends will soon tell her she's 'minging' as my son calls it. And tidying/cleaning? Her job. I am happy to clean my son's room as long as he tidies it. I'm not at the teenage tantrum stage yet with him but when it gets to that I fully intend to shut the door on the mess and leave him to it. In the hope that eventually he'll get fed up of it. Although right now he's quite OCD-ish so maybe I won't face that problem. You're not her slave and the sooner she realises that the better. Good luck!!!
