    Mumof2 you did well

    In my HHC I

    Washed up
    Put wd on
    Stripped master bed
    Put on bottom sheet
    Started sorting airing cupboard
Changed Ds1 & DH bath towels
    Opened & dealt with post
    Put duvet cover in wm

I need to buy a light weight hoover as I am struggling to carry Henry upstairs.

Help yourselves to hugs, spoons and sticks as required.

Had a bit of good news- It is 10 weeks since my Mum broke her hip and she is still in a residential unit. She is going home for an assessment visit tomorrow morning so fingers cross she will soon be home permanently. :)
  • mumof2 I have those very same If's :rotfl:If they all work out, there's a fresian in my future. :rotfl:Ahhhh you gotta have a dream aintcha ;)

Piggers sounds indeedily stormy! I think I'd explode too! is it daft to say, try not to stress too much? :)

Right in this morning's HHC I:
    removed all clothes from bedroom,
    sorted the laundry
    put the darks in
DH got called to do actual Work! thats not on! Anyway left me to finish off the big dishes. All need putting away now :(
At which point I got carried away and scrubbed the grill and grill pan??
    Wiped down the work surfaces
    cleaned the hob
and did general cup collection from round the house.... why was there one in the bathroom??
and made a stressed DH a nice cuppa (from a cleaned kettle :rotfl:)

I may also have soaked the kitchen floor again, I'm particularly good at it ;)

  • awwww seafarers you look gorgeous! (even with your tonge poking out :p) :) And your dress is stunning :) thats some beautiful bead work :)
    Chap looks very smart too!
Looks like you had a lovely day :) :j

  • I love seeing my sink smile at me in the morning! I buffed it til it gleamed last night.

It rained here yesterday afternoon, so was surprised to be able to get dry washing in when I got home at 4:30pm. Put another load out, and started another wash. All undies so pegged them to the hanger this morning. Another wash was on the go when I left for work at 7:15am. For the first time since November I can actually see the bottom of the laundry bin.

I've bought some of those non-chemical cleaning cloths from Wilkinson's the other day. Used the blue one to clean the bath after I showered this morning. I was rather impressed at how easy it was!

DH was a love last night and cooked our dinner while I ironed the clothes for today. Now I am getting loads of washing dry outside (I hate using the TD), I'm accumulating a mountain of ironing.:( I can't iron for long, my back goes into spasm. But the hot spot in the spare bedroom is now an inferno!

I must tackle the cat litter trays tonight, noticed quite a pong as I left this morning.

Oh well, back to organising half-term events at 12 libraries! Hope all are coping with their various days'.

    Morning All

It hurts to swallow again so it looks like my tonsillitis is back. That's going to be fun at work as I've got year 1 on my own this afternoon. Will have to make an appt at the docs for tomorrow.

Yesterday my lovely mum came and cleaned my kitchen, dining room and bathroom for me as she said she would as she was too busy to help me out last week when I was ill. So those 2 lists are done.

DS passed his swimming test last night and they both had very good reports work wise at parents' evening although DD's behaviour isn't brilliant - she's very stubborn and argumentative.

Thinking of you Boddy, LL, mumto5, Helen and Soappie

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jue

You take care of that throat, mine started like that, but I was silly and did other stuff before going to the Docs, I STILL can't hear anything, but I am taking the 2nd lot of ABs.
    Morning all

DS2 is 15 today. He is still lovely (no sign of the hormones kicking in yet ;))

Make the most of DS2 not being a stroppo teenager they are lovely while they're still 'little'.

ok trying to put a wedding pic in here and not sure how everyone does it!

Don't you look super, I sooo love the dress.

    Afternoon lovelies!

Boddy & tootsy My condolences, thinking of you both xx

Sickies - get well soon vibes xx

Seafarers wife Wow fabulous pics, you both look so happy, thanks for posting x

Been to work, made a brew. hung some washing out (double pegged as it's blowing a gale) loaded DW and set it away and let the rabbits out for a play.

Trying to phone the decent homes team to find out what's going on but answer phone, forgot it was dinner time doh! I just wish they'd put me out of my misery one way or the other I'm so sick of this limbo carp. Email fingers at the ready for my councillor if it's not good news. They can do the inside at least then I can get carpeted and decorated. Grrrrr blood's boiling already :rotfl: calm down embb.

Need to fling the hoover about and S&S the kitchen, upstairs is still great after last weekends marathon spring clean/fling session

Not read back properly so will make me dinner and do that whilst waiting for dinner hour to be over. I'm on a mission

    Hi all.
    My usual lunch-time catch-up with Fred.
Boddy sorry to hear about your cousin (((HUG)))

Mumto5 I hope your Mum is doing OK today.:o The conversation re nightgowns made me think – what if I got hauled into hospital? I don't own any nightwear! But I believe there's still 3 pairs of Mr LW's pyjamas stored in the loft (he hasn't used them since I moved in with him) so I guess I'd borrow those.:D

Helen oh dear, you sound a right poorly bunny – hope you're a bit better today.

I LOVE you it looks like a concertina loft ladder, a thing I didn't know existed, for me...

(sniggers as will have more stuff to e bay when I get up into my own loft)
I'm glad the link has been useful to so many people.... we aim to please!:rotfl:

Leesara Dailies will vary from person to person – f'r instance, our nightly routine includes checking the next day's mean plan and Mr LW prepping veggies and leaving them in a bowl of water if appropriate, grinding coffee beans and setting up the coffee filter ready for me for the next day (I can't exist without a large supply of black coffee), and very importantly, putting out the next day's meds – one pot for Mr LW, and 2 for me, as I take meds morning and evening.:o Those with littl'uns will have a totally different list. As you get used to Flying, little things will occur to you to slot in, to make your life easier.:o

Toots sorry to hear about your Aunt. (((HUG)))

Seafarer's Lovely pics; thanks for posting. I'm not on FB, so don't get to see if people only post there. One of these days I'll pluck up the courage to post one of our pics (from 2003, but hey, what's a few years between friends?):D

I think Piggers suggests baby wipes; I don't have those, so I use a clean cloth (usually a "retired" cotton hankie):money: with a little anti-bacterial kitchen spray on it.

Looking at today and tomorrow's lists, much is already done/not applicable/WIP, so I'll post, then delete from my Word.doc - it'll make it easier (oh OK, not so scary) for me to see what's left.

I'm also trying to figure out the grocery shopping - usually I go when Mr LW is on early shift, and can take me in the afternoon. But he's not on earlies again til 15th April. I can get him to get most things in his lunch break in Letchworth Morries, but not frozens, as there's nowhere for him to put them at work (chilled stuff he puts in our picnic cool box, with ice packs).

And guess what... I need a load of frozens! I know Mr T is open 24 hours, but I'm too damn tired in the evenings, by the time we've done dins, and we have a gazillion things to fit in this weekend without grocery shopping as well; I need to go into town for several errands on Saturday, and I loathe Central MK on Saturdays; there's also the weekly F&V run to do, and added to that, it's Farmer's Market day on Sunday.

*Scratches head* Oh well, I'll work something out - maybe rest for part of tomorrow afternoon, in hope of having a few spoons remaining by the evening.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
