    Anyone fancy a HHC? I'm thinking 9.50 - 10.20 - sorry for short notice!

    JJ have you checked with the doc's it is tonsillitis? When I were a lass I had recurrent bouts and it turned out to be glandular fever? Not saying it is :eek: just to keep an eye out, as it were. Hope you feel better soon!
    Thanks shellysue I've not spoken to anyone who actually has a cutting contraption. I dont wanna get an uber expensive door stop. Mebbe I should just practice with me scissors... or get sharper ones ;)

    Right I have GAINED 6lb's AGAIN! I lost it last time - yes probably was hormonal. This time - I dont think it can be. This is since Friday! thats 1lb a day!!!!! JEEZ. Now if I could only loose it that fast I'd be happy.
    Ahhh well back to daily plate and NEVER EVER make marshmallow crispy treats again! (it's only them I've been bad with, didnt think I'd eaten that many?? mind you they are lush ;))

    Off list for me today. Will have a quick wander round the bedroom and have already stripped the bed, but Mum and MiL wont be going in there to criticize my cleaning. ;)
    DH doing dishes
    DW on.
    major hot spot to clear - the table built up again... you know I dont think thats my doing :rotfl:
    Need to look at meal plans this morning and got to the shoe chemist and Mr A's
    Piddling down again so cant use my new line. :(
    Toff's poorly toe looking better :) but she's still licking.

    Hugs and spoons to those in need.

    I'm a serial "horse for sale" site browser too :o
    Couldnt aford our own just yet, although DH is a fab horseman and we'd both want one.
    I have lessons at our local yard each week (had one with new instructor last night - different but good and now sore :rotfl:) I thought they'd laugh at me being over 30 an all, but there's ladies older than me who are only just starting out. I'm starting to feel pretty competent :j.
    Anyway.... what I was gonna say was our yard has a volunteer scheme, discounted lessons for help mucking out and such.
    You could have a ring round your local yards to see if they do the same??
    Or our yard also has working livery, you could get one on loan, then put it in working livery for discounted costs and help with turnout's etc?
    My sister (this could turn into a rant) has no job, neither does her chap, 4 kids including a 1 month old and has just got a horse share. She contributes to the shoes and goes and rides when ever she wants. I think they advertise them on preloved - but I'm not sure I'd trust the horse if the owner doesnt wanna ride it? an option though :)

    You'd have to fly in the stables then as well as at home :rotfl:

    Ohhhhh and did you know there's research into horses helping with depression?? They're doing trials as they apparently have an uplifting effect on your mood :T I reckon they could be right ;) Always helps me when I'm feeling low.

    Sorry - no flying, ummm HHC at 10:15??
    Should go put the washing on for a start :rotfl:
    finish the dishes
    and de-poobomb the back yard. (in the rain.)

    where's Triker - is she away in holiday?

    Vegas and having a grand old time.. will be back very very soon though.

    i've loads to fit in today somehow..

    nail appointment at 11 as Sally is having egg collection tomorrow so i got moved to today
    Bunny food and light for the fish tank from Pets at Home
    Collect DD1's prescription and get it sorted
    Need to take Henry for a walk around the house
    And i have so much washing again it is unreal!

    I need to fit in a shower somewhere too

    I found out why OH was a miserable barstool yesterday evening anyway.. apparently his stepmither had noticed the obvious when they were here last Friday so his interfereing nosey b!tch of a sister (I am REALLY starting to dislike her) rang so interfere.. he of course like a sheep bleated everything, I said well he best hope it isn't dead or hideously deformed next week at the scan then.. I am NOT in a good mood at present. I have to put up with him stomping around and snarling and snapping so am justified in being pee'd off with their interefereing when it sets him off in a strop.

    I knew I should have not told him anything.

    THEN.. to add insult to injury he decided to blab every bit of information about our finances and the childrens issues to some 'friend' online he has met once and rarely chats to now so of course she said 'so why is she having more'.. yadayada... you know when you want to throw a major tantrum and really upset the whole world.. So I am REALLY annoyed with the whole lot of them today..

    I am brewing an almighty storm anyway.. I did tell him yesterday.. it will be spectacular!

    Anyhoo.. cuppa.. shower (stuff everything else for now!) .. and nail appt.. and Squeak can stay with him seeing as he dislikes her so much :p

    Thanks very much Nixie, glad I'm not the only horse for sale site browser! Lucky you having a DH who rides too; my DH did a bit in the Army but not interested though he did have a go on my previous horse. DD showing a real love of horses and I am hatching this plan that when she's older if DH gets this better paid job up country, if we have a lump sum of money, if I can get more money coming in through my typing then maybe we could do something. Ages away yet though and there's quite a few 'ifs' as you can see! Not really possible to go to a local yard and help as there's none really around here :(.

    Pigpen, no wonder you're so cross - words fail me.

    Dancemum, you'll be finishing your HHC pretty soon now, so hope it went well.

    Here's what I did (not a lot):
    * Loaded DW
    * Unloaded WM
    * Put away dry towels I did yesterday
    * Hung up wet washing
    * Made DD's bed
    * Stripped the bottom sheet and mattress protector of DS's bed as his nappy leaked in the night and remade with fresh bedding.
    * Stripped our bed and put in WM ready for tonight with DS's sheet and protector

    Off out now .... will be back around 2ish or so I think. Have a good morning!
