been an insomniac for the past few hours, so have done something useful and have put my wedding photos on facebook :) so thats something crossed off my mega list. going to stay up for a bit longer and then try getting some sleep. dont need to leave till the back of one so plenty of time to get a few hours in before work, at the expense of the housework though :s

    Morning All

It hurts to swallow again so it looks like my tonsillitis is back. That's going to be fun at work as I've got year 1 on my own this afternoon. Will have to make an appt at the docs for tomorrow.

Yesterday my lovely mum came and cleaned my kitchen, dining room and bathroom for me as she said she would as she was too busy to help me out last week when I was ill. So those 2 lists are done.

DS passed his swimming test last night and they both had very good reports work wise at parents' evening although DD's behaviour isn't brilliant - she's very stubborn and argumentative.

Thinking of you Boddy, LL, mumto5, Helen and Soappie

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning all! It's a bleuch weather day here - but Fred on Daybreak has forecast that it will get much better later on - fingers crossed!

Went to see Submarine last night - it was so good! I would definitely recommend it!

OH had to go to Peterborough for a meeting yesterday. He rang about 4pm to say he should be in York by 5.30 - he was getting the 4.15 train. When I got back from the cinema he was still not home - at 8.45!!!!!!!!!!

He finally arrived in York about 9.10 - DS went to get him and he got home just before 9.30. Alll caused by an 'incident on the line' at Grantham!

First washload complete, got tons more to do. I have spent so much of this week running around that nothing has got done! Today is the one day this week when apart from work I have no other commitments....so ironing and iplayer - here I come!

    don't give you-know-who ideas!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Car decluttered to garage - MOT imminent (and overdue):o
because I'm going out tonight and planning on flying today I didn't have a shower. I did, however, stand in the bath this morning and bleach the grouting...inch-by-inch with a toothbrush.

So the plan is bathroom, kitchen and we'll then see...

raining here so I shall hang on to the washing for a day...

(Last week I did a scoot through of his clothing and found a WHOLE SACKFUL of outgrown/unwanted/not fit which has gone to work as the Rag's-R-Us company came yesterday *fling* but found 2 belts so thought I try to flog 'em! so I have got an ebay sale to post - the leather belt that DS had in his underwear drawer, clearly too small - so more money in the pot! DS thinks he's getting the cash for that - I think I will be reminding him that, following the scoot through I went to Peacocks and bought him new trolleys and socks...)

And I'm TEN POSTS AWAY FROM 10 000!

ETA already sky looking better so washing now blowing on the line!

Toots sorry to hear of your loss, even though she did not keep in touch it makes you ponder doesn't it xx Yes Triker is away but due back real soon now

JJ hope you feel better really soon, it is horrid when the dread T comes back so soon. If you need ABs ask for different ones, pm me if you want my insight x

Missing Polly, Pooh, JoJo and Jjef so if you are out there :hello:

    To the flying:
    shower
    S&S bathrooms
    tidy and dust living room
    15 minutes sorting the kitchen
    washing on maiden
    tidy upstairs
    make birthday cake
    check CC statement online
    a few emails to send

    Best make a start then.
