    my list

    am off to bed, will crack on in the morning

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level Two
    Wipe units and appliances..
    Clean out fridge
    Clear and wipe table.. clean cloth!
    Level Three
    Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles.. scrub that greasy grout!
    Extras
    Wipe over oven and hob!
    Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
    Level One
    vacuum the floors!
    Level Two
    Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
    Dust and deweb.. make sure you do light fittings and bulbs! do picture rails and coving too if you possess it!
    Clean the sofas.. vacuum under/between/backs cushions.. turn them over for even wear if possible.
    Level Three
    Wipe over all the fluffy electricals.. don't electrocute yourself please!!
    Wipe grubby paintwork
    Extras
    Finish/do a small DIY job
    Wash those misty windows!
    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Level Two
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! (baby wipes are fantastic for this!!)
    Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important).. And your house phone.. they must be just as vile..
    Level Three
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
    Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!
    Extras
    descale the showerhead
    Wash your bathroom mats etc
    Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames
    Thursday ~ master bedroom and landing
    Level One
    Declutter floors
    Strip bedding, wash sheets and remake the bed.. BEFORE BEDTIME!!
    Level Two
    Vacuum floors
    Tidy away floordrobe/chairdrobe and top of chest of drawersdrobe!
    Sort through one cupboard of clothing
    Level Three
    Sort through one box of junk
    Extras
    Do a small job you have been putting off forever
    Fill a binbag for charity shop (or the bin if you prefer!)
    Friday ~ Childrens pits, spare or neglected rooms!
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum the floor
    Level Two
    Sort through a cupboard.. any cupboard, could even be a kitchen one!
    Drag out and sort all the gibble from under the bed!
    Straighten the toy boxes and shelves
    Level Three
    Wash any soft furnishings that need it.. or the duvet!
    Dust and deweb
    Wipe sticky grotmarks from the walls, doors and paintwork
    Extras
    15 minutes filing

    1. sort out wedding album photos
    2. wedding pics onto pc and facebook
    3. write a list of who we need to tell about changing address
    4. write a list of who need to tell about changing my name
    5. write away with change of name
    6. get soemone in to sort out the hall carpet
    7. hand in notice to landlord once competed on house
    8. get quotes for central heating
    9. have nat grid do a live or dead test on the gas supply
    10. get quotes for kitchen chimney removing
    11. sort out power of attorney
    12. get me a 2nd card on OH's credit card
    13. wrap presents for nephew birthday
    14. get quotes for repointing new house
    15. get quotes for new double glazing doors (windows can wait)
    16. get parents/friends down to help gut new place
    17. get quotes for a skip
    18. pack for this weekend
    19. charity shop a load of OH clothes
    20. ask neighbours to watch the cat
    21. book dentist before OH goes back to sea
    22. write a list of all furtniture we need and cost up best options
    23. work out what colour each room is being done
    24. buy ladders (to get into loft)
    25. get quote for deep cleaning this house when we leave and new house as well once its been gutted.
    26. get quote for carpet cleaning rented house
    27. back up all my spreadsheets onto both desktops and OH netbook in case my laptop goes belly up
    28. get pics of edinburgh and sydney framed.
    29. take edinburgh prints with me this weekend.
    30. sort out electrical box before we move
    31. chase landlord about oven as now on week 2 of no oven
    32. get quote to take down pole in the back garden of new place
    33. buy wd40 so can open out buildings in new place
    34. get packing boxes once exchange
    35. start packing.
    36. get up to date on filing
    37. clear my shredding pile

    some stuff done, dailies done, bread made and when I tried to put it in my new ceramic bread bin it wouldn't fit :o DH said not to let the bread rise so much in future.

    Nixie, my DD has a cricut and its a pain in the b#m, stick with the cutting out by hand, its easier :T

    Huge thanks to LW for the loft ladder link - DH is much impressed with the options they have & I would be much happier if he didn't have to perform "loft-hatch gymnastics" every time he has to go up there! Just have to get him to make a decision now! ;)

    Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!

    Clean out the fire place.. vacuum dust and fluff and soot.. if you burn wood your chimneys may need sweeping!
    Level Two

    Don't forget your half hour you time!!!!!!!

    thank you for your lists, i am new on here and found your thread very useful and inspiring! i have written out list and stuck on kitchen wall to show OH even if the house is not sparkly i have still done lots!!! lol
    ps what/where are the dailies?

    Evening all

    Had a great day with my friend and ought a couple of birthday presents along the way :)

    Helped Miss A sort another couple of boxes of her stuff, her room is finally starting to look like a bedroom again and not a dumping ground! A bit of work to do still but it is getting there.

    WM and TD have been on this evening whilst I have been chinwagging on the phone with my friend.

    Sorry to your news boddy have a hug from me.

    Hey ho Monday soon comes round, I had better get organised and skidaddle to bed.

    Was out tonight at a friend's so did a quick swish round the bathroom when I got in, have just listed some clothes on eBay and am off to bed!

    dailies are a matter of choice. Depends on what you need.

    which rreminds me - where's Triker - is she away in holiday?

    managed to oil the door lock and sorted through my makeup so another 2 jobs off the list.

    Mother phoned this morning to tell me my aunt who is also my godmother died this morning - I havent seen her in about 20 years - I doubt if I will be going to the funeral as its a bit far. She never kept in touch with any of us.
