He is absolutely about as unexcited as it is possible to get.. he doesn't like the one he has another is adding insult to injury.. He keeps mentioning termination he is so excited.

It was meant to be harsh.. subtle and I are very rarely in the same sentence!
ok you can shoot me then:p

He thinks she hates him because she is bit of a mummy's girl. Like breastfed babies tend to be. He has no interst in playing with her and expects her to sit on his lap quietly and she wants to scrabble on his keyboard and lick his new watch and bite his face hair and throw his glasses and pull his hair and screech!

He didn't want Squeak. This one is waaaay too soon after her, he basically stresses over absolutely everything.

He just asked 'why would people want babies ever?'

So he is basically jealous of her then?
My DD was a mummies girl as well.....not anymore though....:rotfl:
I am surprised though, he hasnt picked up on the way you and the brood interact with her , maybe he feels "silly" and that she doesnt understand him, so why should he talk and play with her kinda thing?

I do often wonder why we want babies as well :rotfl:

men never seem to understand that we can manage whatever the circumstances though

Piggers I'm one of the least baby-oriented people on the planet, but even I can see that that is just plain mean.:(

piggers - sorry to hear OH is being difficult. I seem to remember him being very excited about squeak... and also wanting a boy as well to carry on his name... he was great with the rest of the kids too (presumably he still is) so maybe something else is bothering him? Are you guys getting enough time together without the children, to enjoy each others' company? And are you also each getting that me-time that you remind us we have to have each week? Sometimes you need a bit of space to appreciate the people who normally fill it. And you both have a LOT of people around and a lot of things to fit in. Is his work situation part of the problem?

(He does know how babies are made, doesn't he? Assuming he is reasonably bright ... even though he's a man... if he didn't want another one he was perfectly capable of preventing it... )

Just about hanging on at work today... SO tired after all those flights (7 in 8 days). And for some reason I booked a hair appointment in London at 7.15pm tonight...

It took a mite longer than HH, but both rooms are now dusted and dewebbed. Thanks for the inspiration to get on and do it, dancemum.
Thanks for joining me. It does motivate. It took me longer I have just finished although I had a tea break inbetween. I hoovered & mopped kitchen floor, conservatory floor, cleaned td, filled td, folded bedding and put in airing cupboard. To celebrate I put on my free lush face mask (took empty pots back). Taking this off resulted in me having to clean bathroom sink, floor & loo. Dusted tv stand, cleaned living room windowsill, & hoovered living room & hall. I have just realised that migraine has gone :)

Ds2 is at mad science club & DS1 is on a school trip and wont return until 7.30pm approx. DH is at work, Cat is out. So feet are going up when kettle is bored for HHDoing note
