Thanks Jackie. Think I won't bother in future then. It's no good if it doesn't work properly even if it is cheap.

If you were"" not suitable"" then social worker should have told DD- as she didn't then presumably you are suitable after all! Either way she is either wrong or negligent. (Or a numptie!)

DD(17) had three friends over for a sleepover last night so once they had left the washing machine was on .Did three loads yesterday and looks like another three loads to do today.

Made new potatoes, courgette, broccoli, mangetout and carrots in cheese sauce with individual chicken pies for lunch for three of us.One dd has gone out for luch and 17 year old is full from party food etc.

Really pleased I got the census filled in online yesterday as it is one less thing to do. Managed to get to the catalogue sale yesterday morning and came back with a dress, a jacket, two skirts and seven tops - two carrier bags full at six quid a bag - so twelve quid for the lot!:j For that price I don't mind if some of it does not fit or looks awful on as some can go to charity shop later or be used for relaxing in garden etc.

Thanks for the fajita spice info - have spices and tortilla and can defrost chicken from freezer and make fajitas tonight or tomorrow as a change.

    Hugs to all

    happy birthday kazzaw

Afternoon all. Weather looks lovely but I'm trying to get a lot of uni work done today. Looks a bit sunny for a run so I did the 30 day shred again this morning.
My friend on a field trip in Dorset text me this morning to say he was barefoot on the beach. I'm sooo jealous, I've only been the seaside a few times in my life and not since i was 8/9 so I barely remember it and really want to go! I can't even picture it in my head, it's odd when i'm lucky enough to have visited a lot of other countries.
OS today: clean the bathroom, desk tidy, batch cook fish chowder and pancakes, dye some hair extensions :rotfl:

I filled in the census form this morning after church.
My DD1 filled the paper form in and was not particularly impressed with it.
I filled it in on line and found it was intuitive and jumped me to the next relevant question. 'Twas quick:)
Have phoned DD2 and advised her to do it on line.
If you haven't filled yours in yet, I found it easy on line. (Watch this space as elderly, too big for her boots, OSer hauled through the courts for illegal census filling!!!) ((joking, I hope))
Jumping with joy as DS has threatened us with one of his all too infrequent visits:) Yaay, yaay, yaay:)
Hope you are all having a good Sunday, Silver x

I do hope you all like the fajitas spice mix.
DH, DD, DSIL and the 3 DGSs are quite certain on what they like and what they don't.
I was on tenterhooks the first time we used my mix, but it went down fine with this brood.
I really hope it works well for you lot.
Remember to reduce the chilli if you are feeding smalls or people who are more partial to mild korma flavours. (I know I am mixing continents here;))
Silver x p.s. let me know how you get on please.
