Hats off to grenny. . .:T
For getting the £15 Boots voucher from, er, Boots!
Seriously though; the Boots info is great for all here who subscribed to a Lovefilm offer on Lovefilm's terms in expectation of Lovefilm fulfilling its obligations.
Signed up 29/11/06, which is 37 days ago. Nothing from Lovefilm in this morning's post but I'm happy to give 'em a 50% overshoot on delivery time ("your voucher will be despatched within 30 days" of joining).
But if nothing's arrived eight days from now, it won't just be Boots I'll be contacting. And of course, Martin's going to be looking at the Lovefilm offer situation next week anyway.0 -
I got the refund I demanded from them, after also getting silly email replies trying to get out of it. I'm not expecting my Boots voucher to arrive but I may chase it up in a few weeks. Although I don't mind either way really, just glad I got my money back and know never to go near this shower of .... againThe £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

My voucher is now overdue but I have to admit to a flutter of excitement when I received a letter in the post from them this morning containing a gift card entitled 'Special Greetings'. But whaddaya know - it was NOT my Boots gift voucher but a voucher for another 3 months free Lovefilm rentals. Yeah right! :mad:0

I emailed Lovefilm two days ago and got a reply today to say that the voucher is on its way and should be with me by 20th January.

I signed up on 1st Dec and cancelled on 21st Dec - they had already put a third DVD in xmas post and refused to accept cancellation until this DVD was returned and NO BOOTS VOUCHER unless I was a member for a month! They took a months subsciption for 3 DVDs and two were faulty! As I cancelled before a month they say no voucher!! JOY!!!0

If anyone has read this thread properly why on earth do you think anyone would try an offer from Lovefilth??0 -
I had no problems cancelling at all. We got 4 DVD's from them, sent them back and cancelled before the date needed on their website. It said they couldn't fully cancel til they'd recieved the DVD's back. Couple of days later we had an email to say it'd been cancelled fully so no problems there but haven't had our boots voucher yet and we subscribed beginning of december (but going to give them a couple of extra weeks because of xmas etc.).Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

That’s right. For every single person that signs up to this free trial LOVEFiLM will donate £15 to the Prince's Trust!

Hi Rollerchick.
Welcome to MSE. You're off to an excellent start, too -- three separate threads launched about Lovefilm's amazing service and its generous offer.
And now a Lovefilm post here, too.
On the basis of 100% of your posts being on the same topic, I hope Lovefilm remembers your name and address (unfortunately, it's forgotten so many others here) should you decide to associate yourself further with this company's enterprise.0 -

Etain: Lovefilm's refusal to provide you with the voucher on the grounds it gave is untenable. If you received that information as an email, then keep it on file. If the info was relayed verbally, then email Lovefilm seeking clarification. And then keep that reply on file, too.0
