Sorry, tired and ratty (ran out of DTD wine!) Read my post back and instead of sounding witty it sounded rude which was not how it was intended.
I am off to bed and will leave the thread in peace(for now......
)
OFF TO BED! How dare you. It is still early. If I feel compelled to watch this thread until at least midnight then I think it only respectful that you all do the same. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And another thing, what are you thinking of running out of DTD wine! Are you an amateur in disguise!0 -

I have been on this thread for what seems like years now and have no problem with the spreadsheet but I personally don't use it! I find the thread itself more addictive! I !!!! tipping this on my phone in bed! First thing I will do in the morning is catch up on all the posts from the night! Spreadsheet or not this offer is going to get pulled eventually so stock up and make the most of it!
Oh and guys please keep chat to a minimum this evening after a bottle of mateus I won't be too fresh to catch up on 20 pages in the morning!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but have Tesco recently responded to their claim to the press that the price checker would be back up and running by sometime last week?0

Hi, did my first DTD, and found the following:
Sure for Men Xtrxcool Antiperspirant Deodorand 250Ml - T=£2.42 Asda=£1.50
Colgate MaxFresh with mouthwash beads (Tingling Mint) - Testco £2.40. Asdo £1.00
hi and welcome, don't be put off by all the banter!
have you bought and had them confirmed?GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

The spreadsheet is by no means a guarantee of anything and still requires work to make sure what you buy is correct. Those who don't put the effort in will be the ones who suffer as how many deals get pulled tonight/tomorrow or each other day in fact meaning "confirmed" deals are out of date already?
As someone has already mentioned, I'm pretty sure Tescos don't have to resort to looking at a forum or even a spreadsheet from a forum to know what items they are selling are more expensive than Asdas. ibf they did then they are in more trouble than we think! :rotfl:
But we all know they ARE HERE---Watching0 -
Tesco's have always been able to see what items are losing them money, they only have to look at the price check that comes back to each of us!
They'e amended some prices.
Offers constantly change across the whole range of supermarkets. It's how they draw us in.
Mr T's wont close the promotion because of the spreadsheet.
But they may close it, if the number of people, claiming high amounts, exponentially increases, because they've found the offers on the spreadsheet.
And I'd agree with an above poster, I'd rather not have to sift through posts for/against the spreadsheet, to look for bargains!
This has been a welcoming thread, witty at times, and if I didnt' enjoy the thread, would be viewing the prices only thread!
The end of the promotion will come, when it comes, but long may it continueThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

Spreadsheet/no spreadsheet??
Can lurkers see the SS?
Can people who are new to the site see it?
Can it be made sort of semi private?
My view is that Tesco know exactly what they are doing and what we are doing and we are not making a dent in their profits, if we were this promo would be stopped no matter what goes on on this or any other forum.
I am convinced that we are small fry compared to the people who are using this promo as it is supposed to be used.
I am happy to have been part of it, and will continue as long as Tesco continue to give us the offer.
+1. I couldn't agree more. People need to get a grip here. You've all seen the posts on here where ppl have presented a DTD voucher in an Extra store and the SA had never seen one before. Some folk seem to be getting carried away with just how popular this DTD-ing actually is. Fact is, it's not very popular at all! The rest of the UK pop aren't like us!! I've tried to explain DTD to quite a few friends, hell I've even offered to go to the store and hold their hand. Not one has taken me up on the offer. they can't be arsed. That's why major foreign companies want to get involved here - because the traditional UK consumer is pathetically apathetic.0
