Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

The people who created the spreadsheet worked hard and should benefit from that work. I'm like Stebiz, I've spent a lot of time on this thread trying to keep up when I haven't been doing my own homework by comparing what I need to stock up on on asda, tesco, mysupermarket. I've happily posted deals that I've found for other people to take advantage of but I just don't agree with the spreadsheet. That said, I doubt the spreadsheet owners are going to be convinced by the points that have been put forward against it to date so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree
.
I agree , but only if they let me look0 -

i have been here since the beginning and have never even bothered looking at the spreadsheet. If I did, I would only end up getting obsessed and attempting 60 DTD shops in one day and end up in jail. I prefer to just search the tesco and asda websites for things that are on my normal shopping list / want to buy as presents and seeing if its on offer.0

Haha "the spreadsheet will get the offer pulled".... "make it private" blah blah blah have a word with yourselves, better still search this site for the numerous missprice threads that appeared on this site for many a year....
Lets hope for a good DTD on tin foil so some can make themselves nice hats...TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
Didn't manage to go to Tesco today. I have a £19.78 voucher to use. It was supposed to be £20, but cos i included some Quorn stuff (as when i had previously bought some of them they came up as N/A), one of the stuff I bought was 50p cheaper at Tesco lol. Mistakenly thought that all Quorn stuff would be excluded which clearly wasn't the case. Lesson for next time: listen to MSE'ers and do 2 separate transactions.
Guess what im gonna buy tomorrow (so long as prices stay the same)? More Herbal Essences.Need to stock up for my holiday in july and also for general use.

Spreadsheet/no spreadsheet??
Can lurkers see the SS?
Can people who are new to the site see it?
Can it be made sort of semi private?
My view is that Tesco know exactly what they are doing and what we are doing and we are not making a dent in their profits, if we were this promo would be stopped no matter what goes on on this or any other forum.
I am convinced that we are small fry compared to the people who are using this promo as it is supposed to be used.
I am happy to have been part of it, and will continue as long as Tesco continue to give us the offer.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
I'm not picking sides but you make an extremely valid point. Even my Mum and Dad are checking out the spreadsheet, and otherwise they wouldn't have either, the time or energy/inclination to follow this thread. I've been on this thread since the beginning, and I have made it my priority to keep up with it. Surely those who spend the time and energy giving information/answering questions deserve to benefit more than those that click on a link.
Yet at the same time I like the spreadsheet. Maybe there is a way that only those who contribute to it have access - or something.Internet earnings:
Swagbucks - £748
InstaGC -£73
Nielsen Mobile - £70
Mobile Trends - £19.50
iPoll - £150 -
The spreadsheet will be seen by tescos to.. it should not be public view people should ask to access it.
But Tesco KNOW what they're charging, and they know what Asda are charging!! They don't need the spreadsheet.
Seems like people are worried other people might get a bargain too and they'll have to pay for shampoo. If anything's going to get the offer pulled it's people constantly talking about using different email addresses and messing about with temporary clubcards.0
