Just wanted to add my view on the whole spreadsheet thing. I have been using it aswell as the thread in general. Find both very helpful and thanks to all who find time to post and update the thread.
I do my shops in an average size store and in an Extra in the next town. I have been DTD for about 10 days now ( was a late starter as I did not follow the thread straight away. So far I have not seen any other DTD Vouchers being handed in and not seen any other DTD'ers. In my home store they have never signed any of my receipts and nobody queried them or batted an eyelid at them. In the larger store they have signed them but again no problem using them. Got my Mum and both sisters doing it and they all had flowers from me today bought using a voucher and my brother and family had a bag of groceries ( they are having a hard time financially ) including rack of lamb, vanish, twinings, lurpak, baby bel, lynx, Princes Tuna and a jar of pickled shallots bought for 20p a few weeks ago.
We had Mr T's roasties aswell as rack of lamb for 8 of us.
Now it seems to me we are all getting a bit paranoid about the fact that Tesco might see the thread or spreadsheet however I think Mr T knows exactly what he is doing and we are just a few people getting a bargain when the majority are just paying the high prices.
Happy shopping all and long may it continue.

    20p??

you got ripped off then! they were 2p at my local a few weeks ago!

loads of posts too look through but hope some1 can help.

I bought 1 x kelloggs strawberry nutriigrain packs of 6,, was on a BOGOF but i was not sure how this would affect my DTD so only took 1 x pack,, no mention at the till that i should of taken another for free,,

Any thoughts as basicaly 2 x packs for £1.79 looks like it would be cheaper than asda
Have i missed out on free goods?

My mum has put her receipt details in wrong - wrong time by a couple of minutes (she read 18 for 15). I would have thought this would result in a receipt not found and she could re-input her details but a voucher, for the correct shopping list has been sent - but it has the wrong time on it!
I know CS have said they will not enter into discussion about any of this now but do you think CS will be able to help if she rings up as there is no way she will take a receipt with the wrong time on it with her shopping for fear of being arrested! Has anyone else had this happen?

tesco had no intentions of pulling the promotion when the amount DTD'ing like we are was very little, soon it will spiral out of control, when there are 50 people at all times veiwing the spreadsheet already. I don't see 50 people posting new/confirmed deals on here at all times, yet I do see the shelves are emptying of DTD. Sorry if this sounds greedy, but those of us who have been on here from the start have put money, time, effort into helping others. Taking risks buying un confirmed deals, winning some and losing some. Sorry if it hacks me off that 1000's of people a day are now getting it handed to them on a plate, resulting in empty shelves!

To be honest this debate is getting us no where, the spreadsheet is there, lets just get on with it... humph... *sulks*

oh god im nagging again. Really do apologise, just feeling hard done by that I couldnt get any tetleys yesterday lol

But there just aren't that many new deals!! I reckon maybe two a day, plus loads that have been confirmed as n/f a few pages back.

Come to my Tesco. Lamb, teabags, Betty crocker - even I'm not buying it, the shelves are stacked!!

People just aren't realising that the ss is giving Mr T the heads up on whats going on.
By watching it and this thread, he can know what to look at faster than any programming can tell him that SEA SALT AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR CRISP sales are up by 2 % or one of 10 different types of red salmon are doing particularly well against others that are on promos.

The spreadsheet just allows for people to turn up and take without contribution and that is not what mse is all about.

Forgot to mention, the age old promo con that is Pringles is £1.99/2 for £3.50 in Tesco on various flavours, but £1 on a limited number of flavours in Asda (Texas BBQ - yum!). Not bought on DTD but you would hope this would be a clear match?

    Anon

The only ones that I can see that are £1 at ASDA that Tesco stock aswell seem to be Texas BBQ (yuck :p) and Prawn Cocktail. Do you know if anyone has tried these yet for DTD? My sister has asked me to do a separate shop for her and get some Pringles as well as some Elevenses (she's been going through the choc chip bakes as if they were skittles lol). But don't wanna get the Pringles if they're gonna come up as N/A.

hate to state the obvious, but a lot of the DTD bargains are those which we DTDers buy one of, even though they are actually on promotion at Tesco (Tetley Teabags are 2 for £6), they are being purchased by normal shoppers not the likes of the folk that know about MSE...

doh, didnt even think of that! although that doesnt explain the dettol apple spray being out of stock though :(
