HERTA CLASSIC FRANKFURTERS are CONFIRMED :D
  • The rack of lamb would still work though, I was in Waitrose yesterday and theirs looked much nicer and half the price. Same price as Asda.
Yes, its a misconception that Waitrose are much more expensive - actually, they also pricematch against Tesco, and sell many many branded products for the same price. OK they sell lots of luxury goods, many of which are very expensive, but then so do all the other supermarkets. Waitrose is my 'corner shop' so i am in there quite a bit - never paid full price for meat since they opened over five years ago...;)

This makes my little collection look rather pathetic:rotfl: Ive been trying to stock up on toiletries. Looks like uve been doing really well.:T

Thanks :) I have mainly been buying toiletries, crisps, yougherts and cornettos so thats why I've built up a decent collection fairly quickly. Most of the food in the offer isn't stuff they I would eat as it's quite processed, plus I thought I might aswell focus on toiletries as they will keep :)

I try and mix the items in each shop to try not to look to suspicious when I'm at the checkout - my max is 4 per item.

I don't usually buy many yougherts/ice creams so when I want a snack I tend to send oh to the shop to get me chocolate but now that I have all these yougherts and ice creams to snack on it must be a little bit better for my waistline and ALOT cheaper them chocolate bars from the newsagent!

Also I fully intend, when this promotion finishes - and it will, to use my final set of vouchers on a trolley of regular shopping that I would buy anyway, so re-couping my initial extravagant outlay. :T

    Me too :)

I have been topping up my shops slightly with things I actually need so tesco still have been getting a bit of money out of me. Plus all the things I've brought extra haven't been on offer.

I'd love to know what percent of tesco shoppers are taking advantage of this, I'm sure it's only a very small percent. I'm yet to spotter a DTDer and there has been good stock of all the DTD items I've looked at in my local tescos, apart from the phil fogg crisps which almost sold out the other day (although alot of that could have been my doing!). Also, all but one of the SAs I've dealt with clearly haven't seen the vouchers before.

    1 x LYNX SHOCK SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 2.37 £ 1.00
    2 x WALLS MAGNUM WHITE 3 PACK 360ML £ 4.00 £ 2.00
    2 x LYNX RECOVER SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 4.74 £ 2.00
    1 x GILLETTE FUSION PROGLIDE MANUAL RAZOR £ 9.99 £ 5.00

DTD was £11.70 - got a bit carried away despite the planning, but got £20 back. so £22.10 shop for stuff that I would buy anyway cost £2.10 love it!

This has prob been asked before but if I use my DTD £20 voucher and do the same shop as above for example would I qualify for a DTD voucher if I used one to pay in the first place?

    Cheers
28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A

I have two £100 DTD vouchers to use, from the pre-cap days. Im a bit anxious about using these - can anyone suggest the best way to? I dont know whether to use the manned tills and hope for the best, use them gradually through an on-line shop (not done an online food shop before, and am hoping paying the delivery driver with a voucher would be ok?) or checking first in-store with customer services before doing a large shop and going to a till?

has anyone any experience spending the £100 vouchers, without being too much 'on the radar'?

    thanks!

I used my £98.98p one yesterday no probs, if you are using your voucher within the t&c's you have nothing to worry about just get your shopping and head to the till.

Theres no reason why you shouldnt buy the same, unless Asdas prices have gone up or Tescos have come down LOL

As far as the T&C's currently state, we can validly do that.

Shop first time, get a voucher. Use that voucher to get another lot of shopping, receive another voucher, use that to get another voucher.... etc etc :j
