Do you think if they pull this soon there will be problems using existing vouchers, I have a couple from Saturday which I was going to spread out over the month. I will be within the 28 days so I assume they will honour. Any thoughts anyone??

I haven't got a clue ! I'm afraid its one of those times when you have to decide if you want to take a chance - Tesco SHOULD (if they are playing fair) give us up to the 'use by date' on each of our already printed vouchers if they decide to stop the DTD scheme. However, this is Tesco we are talking about - and we all know they will do as they darn well like.

Personally, as I am now recycling vouchers and trying to spend no more than a couple of £'s extra(or preferable less!) when I redeem a DTD voucher, I'm going to hang on and hope we get some notice of any change.

I had a bit of a shock last night when I added up all the actual cash I'd handed over in Tesco last month - even after deducting the value of the DTD vouchers it still came to a very substantial sum!!! Tesco have hardly had a bean out of me in recent months, prior to this promotion, so they have done well to get me back through their door and spending money. They may only have made a small profit out of me - but thats better than the zero profit they were getting before. I'm very happy cos I've had loads of goodies but, because I obviously had to kick start the recycle sequence with actual cash (quite a bit to begin with before they capped the voucher limits!) it has cost more than I realised.

agree with you wholeheartedly :) plus the money is tied to tesco, and can't be used on fuel. Also without VERY careful maths you have to go a bit over your voucher to get it cashed, and while you're in there you'll probably 'pick up a few bits...' Also lots of people will use the DTD voucher for treats rather than usual spends, forgetting that their initial outlay to get this free food was a basket/trolley full of already overinflated goods. Additionally this enforces the more expensive brands in people's (and their children's) minds so that once the deal is over we'll still reach for those...

I personally think Tesco is still the big winner here by a long chalk.

Definately as I haven't spent a penny in Asda since Tesco have been doing thos offer. I usually do the majority of my shop in Asda.

I totally agree, i've spent over £100 in T's this past week (i made too many initial outlays due to impatience and needing food in the house) but i would have spent that in Morrisons. I still don't think i've had a good deal, I need to recycle a lot more before i have got value...
It's just a shame i did my last shops on Friday evening because i'm still waiting and haven't been able to go all weekend :(
    Internet earnings:
    Swagbucks - £748
    InstaGC -£73

Aw, I'm with you. Not the best day anyway, my mum passed away after a nasty illness 18 months ago, but my DD remembered it was MD but didn't do anything about it till my husband intervened. Still, a trip to Tesco's with OH soon cheered me up again !!! Had a big old voucher to spend, so stocked up on store cupboard items and meat, plus a few special purchases. May have a Baileys tonight - feel free to join me!

Totally agree about some thinking they are getting more than they actually are.

However I have purchased several rounds of DTD trolleys for the one initial outlay. Yes I know the original outlay was overpriced, but I have made sure that we have only got things we will use eventually, plus a few treats along the way. For example, I know that my regular shops in the future will benefit from not having to buy shampoo and toilet cleaner for a while :D.

Also I fully intend, when this promotion finishes - and it will, to use my final set of vouchers on a trolley of regular shopping that I would buy anyway, so re-couping my initial extravagant outlay. :T

I'm the same, added up the total spent in Tesco and ouch, althoulgh I still spent significantly less than the value of goods and this improves every times I recycle (if only they would send my vouchers through!)

I think when it ends I will spend the last vouchers on the best bargain I can find! We know have an idea of when one of the shops puts their massive bargains out and I kind of like the idea of getting us much value out of the last Tesco vouchers as possible!

to the spreadsheet editors out there, the Mclelland's cheddar 400g is being reduced at Tesco from tomorrow (4/4)to £2 to match Mr A! so watch out if you plan to buy it soon...

Also, quick q: has anyone given the voucher to the delivery driver of an online order? and if so do you give them the original note as well or they just need to see it? I have a large voucher of close to £100 from all of this started and I need to use it, but would rather place an order for this amount... advice?? thank you!

I would much rather shop in store

    A) to avoid prices changing between when you order and when it's delivered and

    B) to avoid handing it over to a dozy van driver who hasn't a clue what to do with it in many cases, according to previous posts. Once it's out of your hands, it's out of your control.

Courage, it's one Mr T sent you, so use it. If it's any help I spent one for over £50 today from last month with no problems.:A

How did you manage to get an airwick coupon in the post pls? The only ones I have seen are the ones you print off and there was no coupon in the reed diffuser box.

    Thanks. :)

Not sure, this was a coupon before all this DTD started, think it was because I am a member of the Air Wick home club? (sign up online and you get to print one off then too). The other was in the Air Wick Electric. They all scanned fine.
