Day off tomorrow from DTDing - i don't have a printer and the libraries shut also loads of housework to catch up on and spending time with my family when i havn't got my head stuck in my lappy, i think would be pretty nice.
hopefully its a nice day and we can get to visit a carboot sale or two and top up my Ebay stock, as i have spent so much time on here lately ive got nothing left to sell as been neglecting things.
Hopefully you all have a lovely day and from one mum to all you others out there have a lovely mothers day xxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

However! And this is a big however. This is the MSE forum! I've saved (and spent lol!) thousands from other people's help. If I can give something back, then I will - and I have. I think it should remain open, and the more the merier on the editorial board. Whoever made it all alphapbetical - thank you.
To all those working on it for me, themeselves, other regulars, and the averag eperson who really needs this in the current economic climate, we thank you all.
I'm open to discussion on this topic, but that is my opening gambit!
Oh, and the 4 £20 shops I did tonight with a barrier between each using a voucher on each all went through fine. I love DTD! :DGot some bodyform for my daughter and wife with a little tin that you can take in your handbag too! Of course on DTD
So those people are getting all the info handed to them without giving us so much as a lurk here on MSE.
It's good that all the info is here in the thread but a bog standard bargain hunter probably wouldn't go to the effort which us MSE'ers would go to to sift out the information from it. Now they don't need to yet they get all the benefit.
Sorry if that sounds selfish and i really do agree with sharing the info as that's the spirit of the forum, but i have read of people passing the link on to non-MSE'er's which is what has swayed me to agree with some of the others on this.
Obviously I wanted to have it open to all because i made the first spreadsheet open to absolutely anyone - it was only changed because some !!!!! kept deleting the whole thing. :huh:Internet earnings:

my OH and kids informed me earlier that "tomorrow you get a wonderful day out, doing what you want to do". Going to every Tesco within a 50 miles radius flashed into my head. Apparently not, what I "want to do" is go to the zoo lol. ah well, will be a lovely day out. Wonder if the zoo do DTD at the gift shop?0

there have been many comments that there seem to be very few DTD vouchers around even in larger stores etc
interesting "tesco quote" from Retail Week
http://www.retail-week.com/in-business/marketing/tesco-forced-to-cap-pricecheck-refunds/5024051.article
“It was less than 0.02% -about 100 people - who ingeniously managed to gain a larger amount. In reality, we’re talking about a tiny amount of people.”
which ties into when the £100 cap was introduced, a week or so ago, and Tesco were reported as saying that it was "one in 5000" who were exploiting the Price check scheme
so say 500,000 price checks (or customers if identified by email address or clubcard) and 100 are seeking to maximise the benefits
of course the splurge of publicity a week or so ago may have increased the number using
but i have to say as a quite frequent reader and occasional poster i do not think many people are using the price check scheme

Have edited sheet as data validation in Column G (quantity) is pointed at 'Tesco DTD calc'!K2:K297' as the source list for the drop down box. K2:K297 is the comments column so when you click to enter the quantity you want, it will only accept values from the comment fields like "30p on each pack" rather than a number you actually want.
To fix I have inserted addition colunm "L" with the values 0 to 15 for the quantity list and linked the validation settings in column G to it. I have then hiden colunm "L" so it is not viewable.
Not sure what colunm "J" - "Source Data" is doing there, as it contains seemingly random numerical values that dont appear to be part of any math in the rest of the sheet, still, I left them there as don't want to meddle too much!
The quantities (and therefore the totals at the bottom of the sheet) are now working again.0 -
