Morning Hypno, its nice you are having a little fun with your money after all that hard work you put in paying the debt off! I really need to get my head down and clear mine now:)

It is lovely to spend it on the nicer things in life, I have to say. And because there is a certain amount of saving going on too, I don't feel too bad about the amount of spending at this stage.

And of course if I need to cut back on it, I can - so if bills go up, emergencies arise, I will just redo my budgets accordingly.

After so many years, it is a very nice place to be

Evening all, hope everyone is well. Not much to report here - went out for a run this evening, budgets going well, life generally full of :D:D and all is well with the world.

runningwise, I am doing the Brighton Marathon in Mid-April, and will do a half marathon at the end of September.

moneywise, I need to just keep focused, keep budgets going, keep tweaking the numbers and have a continuous supply of envelopes for the forseeable future!

lifewise - if I can maintain the way I feel right now for the next few months, I will consider that an incredible success. I am very happy with life right now on so many levels and so that is a challenge I am happy to set myself!

Good for you. It is a challenge to find true happiness in life and then once you do maintaining it as much as possible. Obviously there will be down time but on the whole you are doing well. I bet that you wouldnt have believed that this time last year!. Funny where life takes you isnt it?

Sounds like the running is going well too with the plans to do the marathons. Now big question - do you have an envelope for next years ski holiday?

Thanks Taxi - I am learning to take one day at a time. For someone who has been a control freak for so long, this is a big change but one that is a very healthy one!
