The sun is shining here too - a bit breezy but nice and fresh. Mind you, I am stuck in my cupboard of an office for the day, so it matters not to me what the weather is doing for the moment!

hi there YM! Glad to see that you have taken control, but even more glad to see that it feels good!

Have had a quick scoot around online banking and the various pots, and glad to say that I don't think my trip to Rome and its extra spending has caused me too much of a problem. I do need to keep a close eye on my spending though until I go away on holiday in August, otherwise I will have nothing to spend when we are there. To that end (and also to ensure my weight doesn't creep up) I brought in a salad for my lunch, although I did buy some fruit at lunchtime. I am also heading to a running club for the first time tonight with runchum, which I am looking forward to, but which is bound to involve some sort of joining fee.....

So.....went to the running club - was really good. And really really hard :eek:

I will endeavour to go again next week though - if I can stick with that sort of training session once a week as well as my "normal" running, I will surely improve!

So, another month is upon us - mortgage payment duly made and signature duly amended. Still no cash being thrown at the mortgage to bring it down quicker, but savings being built up steadily, and much fun being had with my money instead :D

My legs have held up after running so hard last night, but my stomach muscles ache somewhat - must be all good though! No pain no gain!

Going to check budgets for the next month.....always a good start to the day!
