I will see how the weather holds up later as i have got all bbq things in which will be nice to do :T

Yes, I did manage a bit of a lay in - just before 8 I think, which for me is practically midday!!

I hope your upset tum has gone - never fun! The sun has just come out here, so although not hot, it is not a bad day ahead of us it seems. I think after the next coffee, and doing my hair and make up, I may head into town for a spot of shopping before my massage. DD will meet me afterwards for a bit more retail therapy so hopefully a nice girlie day in store one way or another. DS has gone to the beach with his friends - sure it will be freezing on the coast, but 15 year olds really don't care do they!!

Hi KC - good to see you again!

Yes, I am tired. work work work, combined with the marathon etc all taking it out of me. Coupled with the fact that my food intake has been very toxic recently - lots of carbs before the marathon, which considering how much of a sugar addict I am, was not always of the "good" type..... and since the race I have just not been able to stop eating! As a result, feeling rather bloated, lethargic and just generally uncomfortable.

BUT, today is day one of the no carb rebalance - a few carb-less days to get back to my version of normal and I will be fine, I am sure!

BUT, life is still good....no getting away from that one :D:D:D

Hypno - could I possible ask you a couple of running questions?

    1. How on earth do you avoid getting a stitch about 36seconds in??

    2. How do you breath in again after having the stitch and pretty much only being able to breath out...?

Both of these things are hindering my somewhat...!

I do generally get a stitch......whatever side the stitch is on, stretch that arm as much as you can above your head while running, and it will help it go away.

Basically, I just either slow down a bit, or run through it. It generally goes before long.

I always try and breathe in for three, out for one - get the rythym (sp) going as soon as you start and it will regulate itself.

I really wish I could switch around my in and out breaths. I can breath out for weeks but I just can't get a breath in. I suppose it I keep working on it, it will come in time.

    Thanks for your help!

try counting your breathing in with your steps. In for 3 steps, sharp out for one.

honestly, persevere and it will happen! Breathing in is good!!
