Race weekend done - thank goodness it was a local one, so could get home in good time! Nice to catch up with lots of people - it is a very sociable circuit to be a part of, plus a friend came and paid a surprise visit which was very much a bonus too :D

DS and DD have now gone to have their hair cut, and I have an hour or so to myself. The patio therefore beckons!

Just been catching up - been a tad busy with one thing and another.

I'm getting an image in my head though............ it is of all you runners floating off as you all breathe.... if you breathe in for 3 and out for 1 - what happens to all the air as you are breathing in for a couple of seconds more than you're breathing out - ooohhhh errrrr    But I definately agree BREATHING IS IMPORTANT :D

I am rather proud of my little patio table - bought a metal table from Ikea for a tenner and have mosaiced it with a couple of sheets of inch square tiles from Focus sale. It is looking pretty good too - cost less than £20 altogether and I've got loads of tiles to decorate a few pots too. I bought some nice wooden reclining chairs to keep out all the time with the small round table - Ikea do a rectangular table which folds tiny and matches said chairs, but opens up to a fair size (I haven't got enough room for a full size table up all the time) Also bought a chemenea last week too - am needing to be a good girl and curb the garden spends now though :p

It's good to hear you appreciating the good time Hypno - SO much better than the alternative :A
    January spends - £587.58

Strangely enough next weekend's racing takes place just down the road from an IKEA.......:D

And yes, am definitely appreciating the good times! Infinitely better! I hope that things are good with you too.

Today is a day that my Mum has arranged for her 60th birthday.....so some family stuff to do including lunch and family photos. My DS is not that enamoured at the idea of photos, but hopefully these will be ok - I bought him new, non formal, clothes to wear, as a bit of a bribe.....so hopefully that will be helpful!

Then this evening is football - I will be watching it in the pub....big big game for us.

I see from the news that Osama Bin Laden has finally been killed. I am not unhappy at that news, but am not sure really if it will make any difference to extremism......*sigh*.....

Anyway, the sun is shining, it is another bank holiday - have a good day everyone xxx
