Had a quick scoot around it late last night, Shaun, and it looks alright to me. I'll try and take a closer look in the next day or so and report back.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Hi YM...yes, am fine, thank you:). Having a "period of readjustment" right now....which is certainly not a bad thing, in fact is very much a good thing. I just need to try not to overload with excess "stuff" while I try and compute everything that is going on.
Am learning a lot about myself. Scary. And Excitingbut still very definitely work in progress.
I will be 41 next month. I look back at the last year, my "life begins" year, with amazement.
Life has bloody well begun.....In many ways this has been the best year of my life. Also the most terrifying, the most emotional, and the most "boundary pushing" I have ever known!

I identify with so much in this post. Since being told in July 10 that I was to be made redundant this year it has given me the opportunity to look at what I REALLY want. And that was a job closer to home and a puppy. 12 days since I left work and I have a puppy and the search now starts for a job close to homeNo more M25 for me :j and no motorways if I can help it
That Credit Management job on the local Industrial Estate 10 minutes from home WILL be MINE :j I can see it now
But it has been a scary, emotional, exhausting, boundary pushing few months
And I am 10 years older than you!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
You certainly have come along way and in many areas of your life. You have the courage to constantly re-evaluate things that are and are not working and act upon them. Thank you for sharing your journey. It helps me and probably many others who are in a similar situation. xxThe past is over & done & cannot be changed. Positive vibes coming your way Maty for that job, and hurrah for getting the puppy! Exciting times ahead for you.
YM, I am constantly trying to re-evaluate so I can make progress. I think that is why I have found the last few weeks so difficult - because I don't really know what I am re-evaluating or where I want to be heading. Or at least that *was* how I felt - I am unravelling it all now, but it was/is a strange feeling of "oh" that I have been encountering, and that is all quite new to meSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno. I think lots of us identify with your journey. Many of us are on the same journey but at different stages. I feel sometimes as if I am doing forward and backward rolls as I feel as if I'm getting somewhere and then I get rolled back the way again. I'm sure until my kids fly the nest I will not be able to totally concentrate on myself and I am happy to wait to do that. It took me a long time to come to this realisation and stop trying to rush myself in a forced direction. I will go with the flow in the meantime and get rid of the bloody debt so I can have a life when the time comes5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -

Thanks(The grin is for the puppy, hoping the job is a little bit away as I want to have the time to enjoy and train him first)

I think what we are going through is just a different type of lightbulb moment! Making us look at what we have, pick out the bits we don't want anymore, make changes to ensure that other bits fit in to what we want to be and help us to move forward towards something longer term that will make us happier.
I really struggled to start with as I am not good at change. And I have chosen to get the puppy first to make sure that I pick a job close enough to get home at lunchtime for him. It WILL work out, I know it :j:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
