Living life, loving life.......hypno's having a ball!

A friend of mine has just posted on his fb wall a quote:
"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone".
Here's another one for you which is my favourite at the moment:
Stop trying so hard to fit in, when you were born to stand out
I love that
I've just got back from a work week in NYC - it's one of the few perks
Anyway my friend was 40 this week and she is *totally* in lust with Nathan, the drummer from the Kings of Leon. So who did I happen to bump into whilst I was there? - YES! Him!!! :j:j:j
He was soooo nice, not to mention very easy on the eye too
So I got a photo with him and a video birthday message for my friend - Best Pressie Ever!!! :T
I'm very impressed with the LBD project, you've inspired me to re-start my Tracey Anderson workout in time for the party season....
Hope all's well - or improving at least x0 -
Wow, Macgirl, that is amaaaazing!! I love KoL too, so next time you bump into them.........:rotfl:
I am feeling much better now, thanks - lots of things are gaining clarity, and that is a huge improvement from the bleak fog I had before. I certainly haven't been able to do it on my own, and am very lucky to have one or two people who have really been able to help me think in a slightly different way, without telling me what I should or should not be doing.
It is hard, though, and there is still a long way to go, but I am truly hoping that the corner has been turned, and I can carry on taking those steps forwards
Last night was fun - I did the Friday night after work drinks, and a friend text me to say he was nearby so would pop in for a drink, which was a nice surprise. Then the friend I had arranged to meet up with arrived, and we left at about 7 - no pressure to go on for more drinks, no need to justify my early exit from the bar, etc - that's an improvement on its own. We came back home, had dinner and had a good catch up on life stuff. The only thing that spoiled it was the rugby result this morning. Pants, absolute pants!
Today my phone has been playing up, so I have spent 2 hours + trying to update my blackberry.....every helpdesk I have tried wants to send me somewhere else. Bah....anyway, hopefully it is more or less working now. Not perfect, but enough.
I'm out to the pub with a couple of the girls tonight - hopefully fairly low key.....but this afternoon will involve re-painting my toenails and stuff like that, just so that I look as fabulous as I can!
Some of you will have seen on FB that I secumbed to the Hobbs sale - was very pleased because I bought a work dress and jacket at 50% off, which I very very very nearly paid full price for last month. They are classics so will last for years. Also bought a pair of Jane Shilton heels for less than £30 reduced from £80 so was v pleased there too.
I hope you are all having a good weekend. xxxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I am sure that the Hobbs sale more than made up for the rugby. Glad you have had a nice weekend so far. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. These things just have to be done Hypno! Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Well, it was a huge saving on something that I had given serious thought to before, so I felt very pleased to have got them. I bought a shift dress and a jacket - sadly the skirts weren't in the sale but they may be added over the next few weeks, so I will be keeping my eyes open. There's no point in me even considering the trousers - I am just the wrong side of 6ft tall for them :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Sounds like a bargain to me Hypno. Keep your eye open for the skirts, sure they will come on sale. There is nothing better than a bit of "power dressing" to give you some confidence and make you feel fabulous. And why not get the best you can that will last for some time.
Now enjoy the girlie night and have some fun. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
They are in the sale online, so am sure I will get them in store soon enough. Since I lost the weight, and became more proportioned, I just love my tailored workwear....makes so much difference to the way I feel and present myself, it has to be said.
Toenails are freshly painted - thank you Boots No 7 £5 vouchers - always good for stocking up on new colours at bargainous prices.
Just finishing my dinner, then have an appointment with the hair straightners.....and will be outta here!
Have a good evening xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Fab news with the sales. Hope you had a good night. You go girl xxThe past is over & done & cannot be changed. This is the only moment we can experience - Louise Hay"You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."-- Buddha0

I did have a really good night, although am still paying for it at this late stage of the next day
Am heading out for dinner tonight - the rearranged birthday meal for DS, so at least I don't have to cook. Or wash up. Bonus!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
