Thanks guys - lucielle, it does feel strange when I don't post, given that I have been doing so for 5 years now, but I don't want to feel that by posting the same old "meh" I am heading into some sort of spiral, if that makes sense!

Anyway.....today has been busy, tiring, but not too bad. Went to the gym straight after work and did a really good workout, then met a couple of friends at the pub....just had one drink of fizzy orange as I was driving, which lasted me all evening, so very MSE, and a nice bit of a catch up too.

Long day though as a result. Finally home, and off to bed.

Hope you have all had a good day x

Another day done and dusted. More thinking done, successfully I think.

I had a coffee this morning with my lovely friend which was unexpected, and very welcome, and have been to the gym this evening which was hard work but am very glad that I went straight from work. Had I come home first, I may not have been so inclined to go out again! Oh the joys of winter evenings!!

Am definitely liking the results that the gym is giving me, though, so worth persevering!! Won't be shopping for the LBD for another few weeks (in reality, November's payday) so still time to knock another fraction of an inch off all over!!!

Good on you for keeping the gym going, I'm sure that will aid with the fog clearing and de-tangling as well as a body beautiful :A
You do sound to be getting brighter - better days are ahead :)

I did 30 Shred again last night after my return to running club on Tuesday. Although it's hard to stay motivated, the boost from exercise is second to none - I love it!
    Take care xx

I do like going to the gym, I have to say.....always did, but of course it had to go when MSE ways were needed to get the debt gone. Now I go, I really appreciate it. It does give me head space, and helps me regulate what I eat which has always been another of my issues in the past.....I don't crave the sugar so much now, which is an excellent piece of progress!

I actually looked in the mirror in the changing room today, and thought they must have put one of those mirrors in that they have in funfairs, that stretches you a bit, because I am sure I looked slightly taller and thinner than usual.

    That feels mighty good :D

    :T:T:T Excellent!
It's true that the hard work really does pay off - mentally as well as physically. I couldn't find my hand weight last night, so used 5kg ones instead - it was torture, but I listened to Jillian and pushed myself (and just when I couldn't take any more and was about to turn off the DVD, she screamed DON'T YOU DARE TURN THAT DVD OFF!!!)

It's great that the burden of debt has been lifted and left you free to do things you weren't able to in the past.
I guess that burden has left a void - it DID take up all your time and energy to give it the heave-ho - so I suppose it takes time to fill it in with more frivolous and enjoyable things (if that makes sense? Sorry if I'm waffling - a bit tired tonight :o)
Keep on keeping on though - you are getting there x

I have a new weapon to fight the bingo wings......kettlebells :rotfl:

Yes, you are right, there is a void there - after all, my debtbusting was all consuming for so long. And after so long of working towards being debt free, it feels so wrong, and so weird to have to acknowledge that it has left that hole!!

But, I can honestly say that these last two weeks have been very positive. Emotional. Scary. But positive.

I just need to keep unravelling things, facing things, and pushing myself outside that comfort zone. Kettlebells and all :rotfl:
