Very apt at the moment - have a big dilemma - as you know I work in a school office and have done for some considerable time. I no longer need to work in a job that gives me the school holidays - in fact it is a nusiance as DH can't have holiday in the main summer one which severely limits when we can go away. I have the opportunity to apply for a job that looks interesting but is full time (only work 22 hours a week atm) and more money and whilst it is in a school, holidays can be taken at any time due to the nature of the job....... and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO !!:o:(

anyway hope you are OK Hypno and that life is settling slowly into how you wish it to be not how everyone else thinks it should be (if that makes sense)

Apply for the job, surfbabe - it buys you time to seriously consider what you want, during the application process.

One thing for sure is that if you don't apply, you cannot turn it down later if it is offered to you. If you don't get it, the feeling of either relief or disappointment that you feel when you get your rejection letter will also tell you a lot about how you feel about working f/t again.

Nothing to lose by applying, but plenty to gain, regardless of whether you actually get/take the job at the end of the day.

Surfbabe at the very least it will give you experience of applying and hopefully of doing an interview. Every little helps!
