Thanks souk x
Even just acknowledging it on here, and having others say "yup, that's normal" has been a real help. As a result, I can have that slight shift of focus that is required, which makes a huge difference.

Hi Z, good to see you
and thank you for the link - it seems that it is giving me permission to write another 14 chapters of my diary.

Thank Goodness for that life without your chapters would just not be worth living
And as long as you have the sprouts as the final step life will always be one step above the worst it could be :;)

Oh yes, the sprouts really do represent so much more to me than just "a tin of sprouts".....!
So, as part of the whole "meh" stuff, I've not been sleeping well. On Monday night I resorted to Night Nurse in the absence of anything else. Mistake - yesterday although having slept well, I woke with a headache that I found difficult to shake.
So, last night, hoping that Zumba would have helped, I didn't take anything.....but have had probably the worst nights sleep that I have had for some time
I really really don't want to go back down that route of not sleeping, again - it really is debilitating for me in so many ways......so today I will be heading back to the chemist for some nytol or something similar to try and get me back into the routine of it again.
Foodwise, I am still doing well with the snacking and am eating regular meals.....including breakfast, so that is ok.
Moneywise, still 9 days to payday.....and I will need to raid the driving lesson money again to get through - but only because I have a couple of social things at the weekend.....so I can't be too unhappy about that, because it is a choice thing, rather than "survival".
I think I will look for a "10 minute yoga" type dvd today that I can do just a few mins before I go to bed.
Right now, it is time to dive into the shower and get ready for the day ahead! Have a good one, everyone and thank you again for being there yesterday xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Morning lovely, bah to feeling pants. Autumn seems to have come so early this year and affecting so many more people than it ever used to in the past. I guess a reflection of the lives we lead now.
Make the most of the fun stuff, snooze when you need to and go look at the tin of sprouts when you think it is all too much and realise that nope, its not that badOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Morning - hope things are less wobbly today - the sun is shining and that always makes things seem better - till you get an urgent message from DD in London at 7.30 to say that they have had a visit from the baliffs at 6.30am as they reckon someone owes £1400 to council. Now as the four girls have only been renting since July and are all students it is obviously not them!. So panic mode has set in with al of them and now me as well!
Having hi-jacked your thread I will now disappear to rack my brains as to course of action.
Enjoy the sunshine and hold your head high0 -
Parenting never gets any easier, does it Surfbabe!! I hope DD and her housemates get things sorted out very soon. I rented a house for a year and the previous tenant had run up council tax bills for various previous houses and we often had bailiffs turning up for her. Thankfully, we never had a real problem with them as we proved who we were quite easily, and no heavyhandedness or rudeness was ever employed on their part. But it did all feel a bit close to home, considering our own financial circumstances of the day!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
