Oh Hypno, I didn't realise you were having a wobble till reading your thread just now .... lovely level of support on here, as usual, and what people have said makes a lot of sense. That sleeplessness is probably going to make you feel awful as well, of course, so I'm glad to hear you're going to tackle that. And there was an item on BBC News today about laughter - so with Zumba and good mates to have coffee with, you're doing the right things.

    Lots of hugs.

Hi Hypno. Re the sleeplessness. I find that if you can have a bath with a mixture of frankincense and lavender pure essential oils it really helps relax you. Also you could burn a mixture in your bedroom before going to bed. Both are calming oils. Frankincense is the smell that you get in church so if you dont like it then it wont help but I find it really relaxing. I have made up blends for several people who were struggling to sleep and they all found it to be helpful. You can just put neat drops into the bath or oil burner or you could make up a blend of almond oil (in a 5ml bottle) with 2 drops lavender 3 drops frankincense and use it as a body oil. Here is some good music to help you sleep/meditate too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGlHUqYkWgo&feature=related

So.......I got a 3 day free pass for the gym that DS goes to, have had my induction to prove I know what I am doing, and did an hour's solid workout. I love the gym, but of course it was one of those things that had to go out of the window when money was tight.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, will go again after work tomorrow, and then decide whether to join. We are lucky in that you are not tied into a year's contract here - you can do a rolling month by month contract, so if it turns out I don't find time to go, it is easily cancelled. Also, all classes are then included, so instead of paying for Zumba with DD in the village, we can go to the one at the gym on a different night and it wouldn't cost us as much.....although sadly not in walking distance so would need the car (still cost effective when you take into account the cost of the class). All very workable I think.

I will take a nytol tonight, and hopefully the combination of the gym, and the nytol will help me sleep well.

Hope all is well for you guys xx

Sorry to hear things are a bit tough. Glad you are enjoying the exercise. I hope you are also getting some 'only Hypno' time. I sometimes surround myself with people and other distractions so I can avoid acknowledging what I am feeling.

Hope the sleep comes - I know how hard you suffer when the cycle kicks in.

Hope you manage to get some sleep soon,
Think what you are feeling at the moment is quite normal as Ive been feeling jittery the last few days as well I'm thinking it's because I had a lot to deal with and now everything is on an even keel then my body.mind is taking it all in but it's a weird feeling

Taxi, yes I can imagine that your situation is very similar in many ways, despite obviously being so different. I hope you're ok.

It still took me 3 hours to get off to sleep last night - that is not great, but I will plough on with trying to tackle it.

Ho hum! I will hopefully go to the gym again today after work.....although right now that seems a heck of a long way away!

An excellent hour spent in the gym, followed by the best MSE dinner of egg and chips.

And coming home on a Thursday is always good because the cleaner has been.....:)

Aiming for a couple of hours doing very little, on the sofa....and then I am sending out all the positive vibes I can for a good nights sleep to come my way!
