I hope it is a cunning plan Bob :)

Glad that you can spout things on here because your spouting often helps others.

You know you've spent too much time with Hypno when you read the above sentence as sprout and sprouting.

  • Hypno I think we 'roll' in similar ways with this particular issue...if there's a crisis around me then it is usually me who can come up with a plan and try and resolve things (even if I am a mess) and I keep a level of control while all around me are crumbling, its control that keeps me sane I think.. how can I crumble I've got kids to keep a good life for and to protect BUT like you I am not a robot and not made of stone and whether I like it or not something/ some higher power than me wrestles that control off me once in a while and makes me listen but I only seem to weaken to that wrestling once things have 'calmed' right down so at that point its hard for me to understand why I'm feeling low/out of sorts or what ever...I'm learning..

I'm learning too, KM - I don't know that we ever stop doing so!

Lucielle - coffee was lovely, although brief, but have arranged to get together again at the weekend. This particular friend is very much in the same place as I am so good to get together.....especially as we tend to laugh about it all rather than feel maudlin about it!

Keep that chin up Mrs, you're doing great. However, remember you need some "me" time to, to reflect on everything xx

After all you have lived through in the past decade, you have every right to experience the odd wobbly moment. You wouldn't be human if you didn't. At least you can let it all out on here and get your head round things.

Good to hear you have some fun exercise /social activities planned with your offspring and friends.

Zumba was fun - chaotic, but fun, and we will definitely be going again.

Ideal for us - within walking distance, and no special kit required, so quite MSE, even for the two of us.

Hypno, just read back. I too am a bit of a 'trouper' and just get on with it until it really hits me. My life is pretty simple but I do struggle with my parents health and when things are good with them I do think 'When's it going to go wrong'. To go through what you have you're bound to be sitting now wondering the same thing. Well the answer is we dont know so all we can do is enjoy the good times and cope with the rest. You've done so well lady, keep on keeping on X
