welcome back. Good idea to avoid the stress of strikes and come home early. I am with Lucielle. Get the post holiday bits out of the way, unpack, sort the post and make a to do list to be tackled next week (just having the list and timescale will help - dont need to actually action it yet). Then remember you are technically still on holiday so SATC, glass of something nice and carry on relaxing.

Have done some of the boring stuff, and done the shower and moisturiser thing.....

....just finishing coffee then off to meet some of the football girls at the pub to watch us be hammered by Chelsea

Have cleaned the fridge, done a storecupboard assessment, made a meal plan and a shopping list, and will drop by Tescos on the way home to get that job out of the way which will then leave me 2 full days before going back to work to carry on relaxing, with the major stuff taken care of.

That's the plan, anyway!

that sounds like a good plan - me - I'm sat with foot up still watching it alternate between raining and hailing. Have one more essay to do to finish course then on to the next one!

Football watched - the scoreline doesn't reflect how close it actually was. An excellent game :T Supermarket shop done, and cupboards and freezers full with goodies with which to cook over the coming weeks.

An evening in front of the telly will be next on the agenda I think.

Not as such, Nargle - just a reminder of the sort of food that we really really love. Simple, fresh, and yummmmmmmy!!

Right now, I have some chicken portions marinating in a bottle of red wine, with thyme, bayleaves and salt and pepper......ready to make a slow cooked casserole with tomorrow
