    Morning everyone! :hello:

Woo Hoo Trasij - looking forward to following in your footsteps! :j

Issytm - the first few days can feel a bit rough, see it as a positve - the alcohol is leaving your system. You'll start to feel better soon. I love waking up feeling bright and breezy and my complexion is looking much better to. My eyes have a sparkle and the dark circles have paled a lot. :T

Welcome Kerry78 - I've found this thread to be a lifeline..its great to come and post here and feel motivated by Shaggy's smiley's - Thank you Shaggy - love my Easter Basket! :D

Thanks to all of you, I found you at the right time and can't begin to tell you how good its been for me. I love that there is no judging or preaching and that everyone is so friendly :A

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning All!

    I have a question.
In the past, when any of you have drunk to excess, have you been aware at the time that you start behaving differently/out of chrarcter/ pushing the bounderies of acceptable beahviour, or (at the time) do you think you are just behaving normally?
And the following day would you remember the way you have behaved or would you just get up and get on with your day as if nothing has happened?

MrR doesn't suffer from hangovers (so he says) so doesn't get that physical reminder. So i'm just trying to get in to his head  to try to get a bit of an understanding.

    Cheers guys

  • 20 please, Shaggy. This is really cheeky, but can I change my target to 22 instead of 23 ?? I had one non-AFD where I only had one glass of champagne, but had to admit to it ... I actually didn't want it, but it would have been really, really rude to refuse.
3 School Nights, please, Bearacus.

    May target: 25 AFDs please

Hiya, Jo, nice to see you - I hope things are settling down? :)

I'm working on a project at the moment and the client goalposts keep changing - SO FRUSTRATING.:mad: I'm spending SO MUCH TIME on it, waking up with blinding headaches (without any wine the previous evening). And I don't get paid any extra. There must be a better way of earning a living  Right, onward, I'm going to sort this out once and for all

    Hi Mrs R

    ((hugs))

I used to wake up some mornings and not remember things about the night before. Things sometimes came back to me in flashbacks that would make me cringe.
As for at the time, I can't really explain but I'm sure I was convinced that what I said was right.

    Take care,

Hi hope you dont mind me asking but how do you all manage to not fold and give into the alcohol when all your friends are pushing you to have a drink? I really need a couple of good one liners or good vibes to get me through the royal street party scenario.
All suggestions are really welcome...thanks ever so much

One of my favourite things to say to somebody who is pushing me to have a drink and is irritating due to being well on the way themselves is:

Irritating person: dont be boring have a drink
Trasi: no thanks I`ve discovered I`m allergic to alcohol
    Irritating person: Oh really ?
Trasi: Yes it brings me out in stupidity
