10 again please!
Am at my mother's for a lot of April, 10 is going to be enough of a challenge! :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Another AF night, so now 17, Shaggy.
My target for April is 20 AFD. Trying to lose 9lb, so cutting down a lot on alcohol will help. I've been ill since the weekend, and I find that straight whisky is good for making me feel warm, but I don't ever go mad on it - I just can't.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Hello All!
Shaggy, one more AF for me so 7 AFD for March (so far, hoping for 2 more).
Managed no wine on Monday, even though it was first day back at work after a week's leave.... unfortunately yesterday went totally to pot after my car got poorly on the way home from work (a 2 hour trip each way for me on Tuesdays at the best of times), and it took me 5 hours to get home  Felt quite justified after that in sinking half a bottle of red - and am now really cross with myself today
Rachael and Shaggy - have you found www.foodfocus.co.uk - really good dieting tool and is also free (or at least it is free for the moment). I'm trying to lose a stone - guess yesterday's flapjack and liquorie allsorts that I comfort ate at the services waiting for Green Flag won't have helped my mission though! And nor will yesterday's wine!)

 good to see you Lurks and MP
I had a decidedly nonAF day yesterday, even a bit of dehydration/hangover this morning. It was planned (the drinking not the hangover:rotfl:). But not a drop will pass my lips today.
Good luck everyone.0 -
March :-

Hi Shaggy. I think you've got my March AFDs and April target mixed up. I'm on 18 AFDs for March, and target is 20 for April. Cheers, m'dear!
I've got a terrible bad back today, tempting to ease the pain with a snifter later, but need 2/2 days to hit target so I won't.

Didn't drink on Saturday bringing me to 13. But yesterday was a different story. I reverted back to being a horrible p****d up person. We went to a christening and then the party afterwards at our local social club. Well the weather was lovely and the drinks were flowing, not free mind, and I reckon we spent over £40. My DH left after a few hours, cos he's sensible, but I stayed behind and carried on. Anyway, at whatever time I got home, I had a row with DS13 as he'd washed the car and I still hadn't put any money on his itunes account. He doesn't live with us and only comes at weekends, and he told me he doesn't want to see me any more and that I was a bad mother. Then I fell asleep on the sofa, and only woke up when I wet it. I didn't want to post this as I'm terrribly embarrassed, but I won't sort it if I don't. I'll ring my son tonight and try to make amends, he left this morning without saying goodbye, while i was still in bed. My DH knows about the sofa, cos when I came down this morning the cushions were against the radiator. He often does this, and rarely says anything. Sitting here at work unable to concentrate and with the hangover from hell. I'd been doing so well this month, and even the times I had been drinking, I'd kept it to one or two. I'll try not to drink for the rest of the month, and I'll think about April later.
I used to wet myself fairly regularly. The shame and embarrassment I felt was also shared by others. It chipped away at how I felt at myself.
It took me a long time to realise that normal drinkers don't wet themselves, and that I wasn't a normal drinker. Even though I'd promise myself I'd never get that drunk and do it again, I did. As long as I stayed the same, nothing changed for me. As much as I wanted not to do the things I did, it was pointless unless I was prepared to accept I was an alcoholic who needed help.
I haven't wet myself in years now, which coincides with me not drinking.
Alcoholism, if left untreated, usually gets worse, not better.
Good luck with whatever you decide0 -
