    Hi folks,

    Been having a think.....

as you know, I'm now totally alcohol free - lifestyle choice based on my health issues.

We are fortunate enough to be going on an All Inclusive break in August and I'm wondering how my hotel will cater for this. I'm hoping that they will provide some fun non-alcoholic choices of cocktails etc for me to try and to enjoy (i want to feel like I'm experiencing something away from home that makes it feel special). Has anyone had any experience of this?

Hope you're all feeling smashing. :j

Msrainman, My husband said I was always narky and obnoxious when drinking red wine, he swears it is red wine that causes this and although at the time I contested this, now I`m not drinking I do see it in my MIL as she`s a red wine drinker and after a few glasses gets obnoxious.

I sometimes wonder if he is just a narky and obnoxious person and uses the drink as an excuse on his behaviour! :rotfl:But on a serious note, he is a completely different person, and unfortunately proved that on sunday evening :(

Wel done to everyone who stayed AF over the fantastic BH weekend. Our local has a nice garden, and I would have loved to have been sitting in the sun with a Martini and Cranberry juice. And if i'm saying something like that I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you guys to stay strong. You are all awesome!!!! :j

17 AFD for April and 1 for the school night challenge, please.

Lala, I would expect them to provide alcohol free cocktails/options. Can you enquire in advance? We went to p!zza hut over the holidays which rang some bells for me, but I ordered a vanilla fudge milkshake (pretending I was in Pulp Fiction!) and it was delicious! Not great for the waist line but not a slippery slope either.
