Have been on a trip to the beach with the family today, just got home
and all I need is a bath and bed am shattered!

16 AFDs please, Shaggy. I had to be very strong tonight, the bells were tolling at 6:00 - sunny bank holiday etc etc. Anyway, I'm past danger time now, so safely AF tonight! And now it's pouring with rain here in Manchester - so the sun/wine associations are completely gone!

Am sat with in laws drinking red wine and the wife drinking white wine. I am resisting, but it's tough....

10 afds for me. On another nightshift and was REALLY tempted to have a glass of white with my meal tonight but just thought what's the point-and i wanted to make it into double figures! Thanks for the insightful posts graemecarter-they are always really thought provoking. maggiesop-know the feeling well of feeling down because of drinking too much-just draw a line under it-would it help if you got rid of your 'tempting booze' in the house? I cant trust myself with wine so only ever buy it when i have planned to have some-however I can happily let a bottle of spirits sit on the side from Christmas to Christmas!

Well I have woken up feeling fab once again :jsomething to be said for this not drinking!!

Am going to have a quiet day today just pottering, am out tonight
but it is planned that I will be the designated driver, so fingers crossed that will keep me AF. I want to feel like this every day!

Miss P missed you yesterday, hope you are ok chick.

Got as far as the shop ....... came back with ginger beer fizzy water

Had some ginger beer when I got home and felt great .... guess that means I was thirsty and needed some quick calories ??
