    Morning everyone!

Lots of meetings at work today and going to a friends tonight for a catch up! Really excited about this, going armed with my bottle of Appletizer.

DM - I remember you mentioning the extreme tiredness and can confirm that, for me, I've noticed this has now worn off. I'm staying up later, sleeping better, getting up easier!

I won't drink today because....I don't like how if makes me feel.

    Have a smashing day everyone!

    Good morning everyone!

    14 please Shaggy!

1 on the schoolnight challenge please Bearacus!

Busy getting Piglet ready - he is being whisked off to Longleat today with my Mum, Dad and Nan. He's very excited :D He's also staying at my Mums tonight so once I finish work at 2pm today my times my own. What WILL I do!?

So tonight may be hard for me - as its bound to be sunny, we'll be child free and it will be tempting to have a glass of wine. I will be strong though!!

Re: The whole "being boring" thing. I worry about this too. But ultimately, the sober me is the "real" me I suppose. If I'm boring then I'll just have to live with it. Luckily though, I don't go out socially often enough to worry too much about it.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Can I come back again!?

After doing really well for a while, I have once again fallen off the wagon and for the last couple of weeks have drunk every day :(

I really do want to do this and then I get to 6pm and think oh well one won't hurt and that one always turns into a bottle  which is hurting me and not helping on the debt busting front either.

So, bearacus can you please list me on your school night challenge for what is left of it, thank you. Being accountable really does help me!

Anyway I hope everyone else is doing well,
Im going to make the most of this beautiful sunshine and get out on my veggie patch!

Miss P my kids used to love Longleat when they were younger, Piglet will have a fab time!

    Welcome back Mari:hello::hello:

I was AF last night and slept really well so I feel good this morning, which is useful as I have no children at home and I can do some decluttering.

So 1 for the challenge please bearacus and 13 in total shaggy - thank you for doing such a great job of keeping track of us all!

    Morning Everyone.

1 for the challenge Bearacus, and I am on 10 for the month Shaggy.

Last night was difficult as I was very tired, grumpy and stressed. Had to remind myself that a drink would just make that carry over to the next day. Spent some time thinking about what was bothering me, cut the back lawn and started sewing up a dress :T. This morning I was up bright and breezy making flapjacks. So at the very least I can tick 3 things off my To Do List. But the bothering is still bothering :(.

Its a beautiful day here. Hope everyone enjoys it.
  • I went to a party during the festive season and decided not to drink so I could drive the kids home and was told that I was being boring.

I remember a line from Porridge with Ronnie Barker, someone says to Fletch he is boring to which Fletch replies the boredom shall cease the moment you leave the room :-) I used that line once on someone once and they didn't have a reply!
