Morning All, Sounds like everybody is doing really well at the moment, keep up the good work, keep those heads clear !!
17 AF DAYS THANKS SHAGGY - oh by the way I love your Monday morning picture it really made me chuckle0 -
Good Afternoon everyone.
PD, hope all is okay, make sure you have plenty of rest, thinking of you.
DM, well done on the AFD with friends.
I have had a very nice weekend but not AF but not mental either so feeling good today. Had few glasses of wine on Frid and Sat and 1 beer yesterday.
I won't join any Schoolnight challenge this week as I am out quite a few nights so may not be good for the AF or food calories, but I won't beat myself up. Still reading Allen Carr so planning for the quit smoking as well.
Hugs to everyone.0 -

Happy monday all, how has everyone been?
A big hello to Issytm, welcome aboard. I hope your Monday hangover eased.
Not only was I AF last night and tonight, I now have 2 bottles of spirits in my house that need to be transported to my Grandmas birthday party.
As the party is not til September, it is almost as though my Mother has purposely put temptation in my way. One of my old sayings was "I can resist everything but temptation", I have now had to turn that on its head to "nothing can sway me from my path".
I am doubly glad that I have a clear head now, able to crack on with my studies and understand what I am reading without the words dancing off the page. I will be able to attend my careers appointment in the morn focused and determined to get out of local government forever!!!!
Here's hoping anyway.
stay well all x

Well MrR is feeling poorly. Got home from work and went straight to bed.
He's not sure if he's caught my cold or is suffedring from over-indulgence.
Ok, so he was bunged up last night and suffering with a bit of a head cold, in fact we both were. But I don't have the headache, dodgy stomach and shakes.
I did suggest yesterday that he stayed of the wine so he went back to work refreshed (and his work colleague is on holiday so he's on his own this week and can't have any time off sick), but after a token cup of coffee about 1.15pm yesterday he poured a glass of wine. Followed by more wine, and then 2 cans of strong Polish larger and a Vermouth round at a friends house, then more wine when we got home.
So I think it's fair to say it's not just the fault of a head cold that he's feeling rough.
Will he ever learn??!!
On the plus side it has meant that today has been AF for him :j (every cloud has a silver lining)

ETA: you're a Stoke fan then, lala? Congrats! Hope you give Man City a whipping.
I worried about that, and sometimes still do worry a little.
But it's my life, and I need to do what's right for me. Not always easy, but it's worth it0 -
I'm joining this proper.
I drank Sat, Sun and my kidneys hurt!!!!
Today is AF, so the total for me so far is 12 AF days this month
Bearus can you add me to the schooldays challenge as well please0
