morning all, I feel as though I have been through a wringer. 4 hours sleep before a long drive is not my idea of fun, at least I am not facing it with a hangover.
    have great day all

Just wanted to wish you all the best Lala. That could have been written by me 3 years ago.
It was that little book No More Hangovers that was my bible during the early days.
I read and re read it over and over . It certainly helped me and I hope it does you too.

    Good Luck
    Love Mollypollyxxxx

    Thank you!
Congratulations to you Mollypolly you are where I need to be, I HAVE to change my whole thoughts of alcohol. Ive certainly had a nasty shock. I'm up early because OH works early mornings and I'm afraid of having a seizure if I dose off and only the children are here. I'm convinced it was alcohol related though.

Discussed with OH how to tackle this when we meet up with friends. I'm going to tell them that I've had my meds reviewed, they've been tweaked and that I can't drink on them now. I've told my best friend (girls night drinking buddy) about what happened and my decision and she totally understood, still loves me and welcome me round just as often even if I am AF. This has to be me now.

    Love to all

ETA - going to change my signature to a bolder statement. Looks a little lame at the mo but will look more impressive as I progress!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I am now 14 months without a drink and my life has really improved, I drank between one glass to two bottles of wine a night for years and things got worse and worse and I decided to give up!!

I struggled to get through one day without a drink and now I cant imagine being a drinker! I sleep well, look years younger, have lost 3 stone with minimum effort, I have no regret, remorse, I dont drive under the influence, I dont let people down and most importantly I dont let myself down!! All of this in return for one drink one day at a time!!!

Its worth it, hope you do whats right for you all

    Great News :T:T:T:T
