Day 3/3 for me. Finding it really helpful to check in on here every evening.
Welcome stitchintime!0 -
Welcome stitchintime. I understand everything that you're saying as I was doing exactly the same. Stick around and focus on getting your alcohol intake down and everything else becomes a lot easier to deal with, to say nothing of the money saved on not drinking so much expensive booze.
I have not been AF for tje last 2 days - yesterday we stayed in a v. Posh hotel courtesy of DHs work and I drank a bit too much but not in an immoderate way - that is I had a thick head this morning but was well behaved last night. Tonight I've been to a friend's house for a bit of a party - drank some wine but not too mucj. Still, i feel very tired now so off to bed for me!Trying to keep in budget.

No more AFDs to report. Had 2 glasses of wine Friday and 3 last night. Back on the wagon tonight. Had 2 great evenings.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Wasn't AF last night and boy do I know it. I drank fairly moderately, didn't feel drunk. Felt like a teenager after their first 2 pints - incredibly sick. Don't feel too physically bad today but I'm finding the depressant part of drinking is affecting me so much more now I'm getting older, I feel totally rotten.
Well done those of you AF last night, keep up the good work!0 -
I've done 3 nights AF in September - in fact I haven't drank for a week (last Saturday with Mum - but I got very very drunk). Not sure what I did in August; I stopped counting when I went on holiday, but I must've hit 50%.Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0
