    Tomorrow I will be AF!!!

Good luck for tonight May. It's so easy to get on a downward spiral if you start the weekend early, drink on Bank Holiday Monday and then before you know it a week's gone by:eek:

Hope you manage to finish August as you intend to continue and tomorrow's a shiny new month! It's crowded, but great fun up on that wagon;)

    Good evening!
AF for me yesterday and today, which makes 2 for the SNC for far. I won't be drinking tonight so am going to declare for August with a grand total of 27 AF days. Not quite the target I set but very close.
Hope everyone's well and gearing up for a healthy September :)

  • Time to declare 12 for the month - at least I get a pretty flower

Considering really going for it for the next few months. I have dysthymia, it's reckoned since I was about 13, and have realised that ever since I started drinking regularly at around 21, I have needed antidepressants. I have never given the pills a chance to work! It is possible that my general Eeyore-like demeanour might lift permanently, I would have more energy and my home and work life would improve. At the least there would be no more regrettable incidents that cost me friends and money... Got to be worth a shot hey? It's just hard living in such a drinking culture - I know as soon as I switch to sparkly water people will think I am pregnant or try to get me to have "just the one". I'm reading Allen Carr at the moment and I know he is right - alcohol does nothing positive for me but the negatives are obvious. I haven't had a drink since Saturday night and feel OK so might just keep it going, it's my birthday on Saturday but I'll drink water if I want to!

Bearacus - I see you have done 50+ days now - have you noticed any difference in how you feel etc?
