I'm back from a totally perfect weekend away, I got to spend time with 2 of my dearest friends, did some lovely things and was totally AF. I realised how much I enjoy waking up in the morning and being ready to go rather than feeling ropey. It was easy because these are the 2 people who know about my difficulties with drink and are totally supportive of me. The first does drink, but ordered a diet coke when we went out for dinner, and the second doesn't drink any more but would have been happy for me to have some wine, but again was very supportive of me, and told me how proud of me she was when I told her the whole story.
So, that brings me to 26 so far for August :T well done me, even if I do say so myself.
I'd like to sign up for the whole SNC this week (is that 3 nights? bank holidays do confuse me), and I think I'll set a target of 28 for September, even though at the moment I have no intention of drinking, but just in case I get hi-jacked.
Hope everyone is well and not too blinking cooooolllld.
