Hello newies and oldies,
Bit of a slow start this month, but am up to 4 AFDs after a mostly AF weekend.
Have been watching news of looting in my local high street yesterday and feeling sad. So ashamed of the behaviour of some of the people in this country.
hs...nothing to see here...0 -
Thinking of you and your mum Bearacus, you're so right that staying in control will help you get through these difficult times.:grouphug:
:TYoemma, on your exam results. Lots of reasons to feel good about your achievements.0 -

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hello HS, do agree with you about the blatant lawlessness and disregard for others. But am also aware that we have another element of society that is also extremely selfish and their behaviour impacts hugely on others too. I seethe every time I hear 'We're all in this together', the divide widens daily.0 -

I've been lurking for a while & wondering how i could describe myself. I then read AnnieG's post & that could be me so i hope it's ok to quote it.
I fell off the wagon on Friday & still feel a bit rough now. What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Being brave and posting on here for the first time. Have been resorting more and more to booze as my trusty sidekick Jasper-dog heads slowly towards his end of days. However, had the rude awakening last night that, because of this, I now only have £48 to last me from now until the end of the month. What do we do when we fall? I've been a lurker on DFW for a while and saw this thread today.
I too have been having a nightmare with alcohol - had put a lot of weight on, made a show of myself all the time. Decided to try to give up for a while and get healthy. Was doing really well but then went to an event last week and fell off the wagon and again made a show of myself. What do we do when we fall?
