For some reason though I had a bottle and half of wine last night - on a school night - and feel rather grim today at work. I can't seem to stop once I have one and just go for it until I'm a stoopid mess!

:wave:Posie Flump, I'm so glad you decided to post. Hopefully you're back on the wagon today and last night was just a bit of a blip. I think you've done really well overall for the month and it'll soon be time to start afresh for July. Any ideas on what you hope to acheive?
I must admit to hearing a few bells tonight. I had a meeting deferred from it's usual Friday and someone said 'feels like it should be the weekend' when we'd finished. That set me off wishing I could go home and open a bottle.
However, partly the thought that I'm determined to make my target (despite my holiday) and that I'm also getting my diet back on track (and didn't need any empty calories) helped me get past it. Once I'd settled down after supper with a mug of tea I was fine.;)
Hope all went off smoothly today Mrs Rainman, I've been thinking of you.

Welcome Posie Flump :hello:- it's great to have you with us...
16 AFD's please shaggy and 2 for the SNC please bearacus.
I'm away with work now for 2 nights and will be again for another 2 next week ... overnight stays are always such a challenge as everyone treats the evenings as one big party...I'm certainly planning to be AF tonight and will try to do the same on Thursday although I'm not quite so confident I'll succeed
And then on to July's target.....I'll be on my holidays for two weeks so I'm only going to put myself down for 9 for July please shaggy...a bit pathetic but realistic I thinkLBM Aug '07 Debt [STRIKE]£52,615[/STRIKE] DEBT FREE Aug '12 :jCap One CC £[STRIKE]5000[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC CC £[STRIKE]7500[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC Loan £[STRIKE]12,225[/STRIKE]/£0M&S CC £[STRIKE]11,500[/STRIKE]/£0 - Egg CC £[STRIKE]8750[/STRIKE]/£0 - Sains CC £[STRIKE]3000[/STRIKE]/£0HMRC £[STRIKE]3140[/STRIKE]/£0 - OD £[STRIKE]1500[/STRIKE]/£0Pay off ALL your debt by Xmas 2012 £14,128/£14,128 :j0 -
9 AFDS for me please Shaggy and 2 for the SNC please Bearacus. I'm going to work out how many days af i'm going to have for July. I've still got a week left to be completely alcohol free to complete my 'fat attack' part of my diet and I'm determined to do it. I've got a girls night out tomorrow which I'm feeling a bit anxious about staying alcohol free for especially as the pub is within walking distance of my house! I'm hoping that the great weight loss i'm going to have tomorrow after being alcohol free for a week and sticking to my diet like glue will strengthen my resolve! Morning all and thank you very much for your welcomes. I've been lurking for so long you are all old buddies in my mind!
Still on 10 AFDs. BF was having a few beers last night and offered me a glass, which I had and didn't really enjoy. What a waste of a very easily doable AF night. Hey ho. On the plus side - BF has decided to have a week of detoxing, starting today, which will make resisting temptation so much easier. None in the house - none in me!
Anyhow, a great night sleep does wonders and am raring to go today and full of positivity.
Hope you are all ok and the sun is shining on your part of the world.

p.s. Shaggy could I please set a target for July of 16 - but hope to exceed this .... and thank you for scoring!0 -
