I hadn't actually drunk that much on Friday night but felt awful all the same. I think my tolerance is dropping.

Am seriously considering going teetotal, as I suddenly realised that that is more the person I want to be now, not a drinker. My image of myself is slowly moving towards what I used to think was boring (you know, sensible, routine, regular, dependable). Feels better to me now to look after myself, IYSWIM

I'm going through a very similar thought process gien

It's soo hot still....where are the thunder storms?? 15 AFD's please Shaggy and 1 for the SNC please Bearacus

Hope tomorrow goes as well as it can mrsr...take care xx

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Hi all :) Think I should start posting on here rather than just reading (which I have been doing most days for quite a while now..).

This thread has definitely helped me cut down and for that I thank you all! I'm still over doing it though so think reporting in may keep me on track.

So far this month I have only managed 10 AFs but that is actually quite good compared to how I used to be. Managed an AF weekend last weekend too which was pretty cool! For some reason though I had a bottle and half of wine last night - on a school night - and feel rather grim today at work. I can't seem to stop once I have one and just go for it until I'm a stoopid mess! Feel the usual guilts and tiredness and panicky today - what a wally.

I intend to remain AF for the rest of this month and to do much better next month!

Anyway - hello again everyone I think you are all doing brilliantly!!

Welcome to the thread posie flump. 8 afds for me please shaggy and 1 for the snc please bearacus. Glad you had a good holiday and that your mum is recovering well from her operation. My diet seems to be going well-I haven't weighed myself yet but I haven't been cheating. I've got zumba tonight which I love. I feel worn out from the really hot past couple of nights-I haven't slept very well at all and it's starting to show! I need to give my kitchen a good going over but I haven't got the energy. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Yeay I've made it to 28 days this month :)

So glad I didn't drink at the weekend. Out for a curry tonight with friends and we normally just have soft drinks.
