I hadn't actually drunk that much on Friday night but felt awful all the same. I think my tolerance is dropping.
Am seriously considering going teetotal, as I suddenly realised that that is more the person I want to be now, not a drinker. My image of myself is slowly moving towards what I used to think was boring (you know, sensible, routine, regular, dependable). Feels better to me now to look after myself, IYSWIM
I'm going through a very similar thought process gien

Hi all
Think I should start posting on here rather than just reading (which I have been doing most days for quite a while now..).
This thread has definitely helped me cut down and for that I thank you all! I'm still over doing it though so think reporting in may keep me on track.
So far this month I have only managed 10 AFs but that is actually quite good compared to how I used to be. Managed an AF weekend last weekend too which was pretty cool! For some reason though I had a bottle and half of wine last night - on a school night - and feel rather grim today at work. I can't seem to stop once I have one and just go for it until I'm a stoopid mess! Feel the usual guilts and tiredness and panicky today - what a wally.
I intend to remain AF for the rest of this month and to do much better next month!
Anyway - hello again everyone I think you are all doing brilliantly!!0 -

Welcome to the thread posie flump. 8 afds for me please shaggy and 1 for the snc please bearacus. Glad you had a good holiday and that your mum is recovering well from her operation. My diet seems to be going well-I haven't weighed myself yet but I haven't been cheating. I've got zumba tonight which I love. I feel worn out from the really hot past couple of nights-I haven't slept very well at all and it's starting to show! I need to give my kitchen a good going over but I haven't got the energy.
