29 target for June, please Shaggy. And I can post total for May of 25, thanks, cos won't be drinking tonight or tomorrow.

Darwin's Mum, you are a little inspiration - well done and keep it up! I've been getting a lot better recently, but instead of ending the month 1 over target, decided to allow myself wine last night, still keeping within AFD target, but had far too much, so total units for the month are not good. I have a couple of outings this month, and will allow myself one drink at one of them, so that's why my target is 29.

Just dusted off my copy of 'Living Sober' to read this month.

Have a good and relaxing bank holiday - pouring with rain here of course!!

Thank you for your kind words, I really couldn't do it without this forum. I have had my moments of wavering for sure. I have had a scout round on Amazon at Living Sober and read a couple of exerts. I may get a copy just to keep to hand.

AF for me tonight please Shaggy.

You're doing well Pen, you must be way over your target.

Not AF tonight, feeling strangely dispirited. No idea why, I've lots to be cheerful about. Hopefully be better after a night's sleep.

Would you put me down for a target of 10 for June, please Shaggy. I'll be lucky to make it as I'm on holiday for a big chunk of it.

And thank you so much (AGAIN) for scoring for us.:A

    Hello Everyone:wave:

Just want to wish you all GOOD LUCK in your personal June challenges.

Its not easy sometimes but stay strong & make the most of every day...there is life without drink we all just have to `learn` to `see` it for ourselves.

I still pop in & `lurk` because even though I am nearly 2 years AF I will never take it for granted. Stopping the drink was one of the toughest things I`ve ever done but worth every second.

    Have a great June folks.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry to have disappeared - I've been away a lot recently and not been online much. I didn't reach my target in May - too much socialising and not taking care.

June's going to be a tough month as I have to study for an exam, sort out the house for the before the builders come in July (packing stuff away and clearing the decks) and then of course it's the last month of school so loads of activities there.

So, logically my best bet is an AF June, as I need to be in tip top form, but I want a couple of evenings with wine so will set me target as 25 please Shaggy.
I'm not going away this month so that will help too.

Beautiful sunrise here today so a good start to the day

Morning all, the lodgers moved in safely yesterday, half an hour later the screeching started from next door! I duly shut the doors and windows. One of the lodgers (they are both very young) thought that someone was being murdered.
I think the murder was being re-enacted at 5.30 this morning. I hope that this is not the state of things to come. We had an awful time last year with a young couple who would regularly beat each other up, the police would be called and they would be carted off.The landlord was completely unconcerned.

    Have a great day y'all

    Hello everyone ! :hello:

Sorry been awol - life been bit busy with loads of things going on at school that I've been helping with (May Fayre, Pirate week etc!). Felt like I haven't had a minute to myself. Half term now though so should be a bit calmer this week!:T

Finishing on 19 for May please Shaggy.

Please could my target for June be 20?

Just had a quick flit through the posts. Bearacus - so sorry to hear about your Mum. It must be an extremely worrying time for you. I'm with the others though on the holiday thing. You should go, recharge your batteries and then you will be in best form to help your Mum.

    Catch you all later
