HI Shaggy, thanks for running the monthly targets again! PLease put me down for 25 days for June. I've got massess of work to do for my course, so need to stay focussed.....
S x0 -
I've no idea how many AF days I had. Quite a few more than I should expect without trying, but that's mainly because I've been working extremely long hours. I've only had two "drunk" days, which is what I need to cut down on most.
I haven't kept track of AF days at all though - sorryCan we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0 -
Thank you Shaggy for running the challenge :A
I am going to stick with 14 for June please x
I am in a quandry really .... I really need some advice (No punches spared)
i am supposed to be going on holiday on the 8th june for 2 weeks. I was really excited about going as it has all been paid (no credit cards), it is the 1st holiday I have had in 3 years (since my honeymoon), it is the same hotel we went for our honeymoon and it was booked to be our anniversary present. However,
i dont want to leave my mum - her mastectomy isnt till the 28th june and then the rest of her treatment will follow in july ( I would be back the 23rd) but I feel sh*t going while all this happening! My family( dad, brother, sister) all want me to go (including my mum) saying " there is nothing i can do here" "Go and have a good time" " You will be needed when you come back- So take this time for yourself" BUT it doesnt stop me from thinking I should be here and Sh*t for swanning off on my holidays.
What do you think?? What would you do ?? Respect everyone s wishes or cancel !!
Any replies appreciated xx (I know this is off topic but it s just this once)

Hi Bearacus
I really feel for you at the moment, you will have alot of difficult decisions to make. I was in a very similiar position last year, as my dad had cancer and i was going away for a weekend. It was a huge dilema for me and i ended up going away. My dad told me he wanted me to go as did my mum, like you there is other members in my family who were around. I agree with what your family are advising you in terms of going. You will be needed more when you get back, and as a result of going on holiday you will come back rested and ready to support your mum more with her op. My vote is ~ you go on holiday but at the end of the day it is up to you xIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
For the next wee while the SNC baton has been passed from Bearacus to Mackeroo to take care of. So all that remains for me to say in true Bearacus style is........

Bearacus I think the holiday will be good for you. You have other siblings who can support whilst you are away. You Mum wont feel abandoned, but may feel guilty if you don't go
. But like the good Mackeroo says, its up to you.
june target 30. Drum roll.... I am aiming for not drinking again. I had bells yesterday so bought myself some (reduced) chocolates. Soooo glad I didn't drink as my beautiful DD(5yrs) vomited in her bed, came to wake me and tell me but vomited on me instead . Good job I love her to pieces :rotfl:. So I was stripping beds, showering, scrubbing....... But i did it tired, not drunk.:A And that is how I would like to live my life. Able to cope with whatever life throws up/at me.0
