    Hello All,

RL's been a tad busy since I last posted, but I have been keeping up with my AF plan.... ;)

    Could I therefore please add 5 AF days to my total (AF 19th, 21st, 23rd, 35th, 26th).

It's funny, but over the last couple of weeks I've actually felt in control of my alcohol consumption - I've not had that overwhelming urge for a glass of wine (or 3) in the evening, and when I do drink I've been sticking to just one glass (albeit not a small one :p). Have I finally cracked it I wonder? Somehow I suspect it's now that I need to be extra vigilant ;)

Bearacus I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, biggest hugs to you and her :grouphug:

    TooMany xx

Sending you hugs Bearacus :grouphug:and prayers for your mum.

I did drink a lot last night but this morning I realised that it s not the answer and it doesnt help. I think you're right (although having a couple of glasses just to take the edge of feels like the easiest thing to do). MrR struggles with his emotions about his dad more when he has had a bottle. I hate watching him getting angry and upset cos he knows it's only a matter of time, but I know that it's him having a drink to ease the pain which intensifies those feelings.
There's never a right or wrong way to deal with things like this, but you have plenty of love and support on here.

Bearacus, I hope everything goes well for your Mum over the next few weeks.

Rachel, I hope your Mum is doing OK at the moment.

Hugs to you bearacus, i hope your mum does recover and quickly, hopefully age is on her side. Hugs!

I had another AFD, so 2 for me and 2 for the SNC. I'm going to continue through tonight and the weekend, determind to make my 7/7, as i've never been that alcohol free for the last 3 years. Goodness that sounds so awful.
