What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I saw your thread yesterday and realised what a good idea it would be for me to cut down on drinking wine. I need to save the money and it's become a bit of a friend when I need to relax at the end of a difficult day. I'm sure this is how problems start. My other half also doesnt like the fact I get more argumentative with him sometimes when I drink and I fall asleep at 9-10 so he can't watch telly with me. I'm also hoping to feel a bit healthier and maybe not feel as bloated, podgy and spotty.

So tonight I'm sat here with a nice cup of tea, a bit of determination and the hope that it's not too late to join in.

My last glass of wine was last night. I soo didn't want to get up for work this morning.

Can I join the school night challenge too :)

    Kate x

smiley-welcome-wagon.gif Kate. Would you like to join the May challenge? Including last night there are still 23 days left or you could just go TF (target free) and see how you get on.

    Good Luck

Just watching telly this eve, waiting for Strangeways to begin at 9pm Just caught up with Exile, did anyone watch it, it was BBC drama at its best with a cast of John Simm and Jim Broadbent, fantastic

I love John Simm. I'll have to see if I can find it on series catch up. :)

Good morning everyone. 7 afds for me please and 1 for the snc please Bearacus. Welcome to the thread Kate-it's such a good support and makes me think what I am drinking because I know I will be posting on here the morning after! Well yesterday was the first day of my month bikini challenge when I am going to shock my body into getting into shape for my holiday! Yesterday I did a bit of my Tracey Anderson workout and went for a run. I feel very sore today. Annoyed today because my dh told me this morning that he has got a parish council meeting tonight so I can't go to zumba-booooo!

Can I be target free for the month. My difficult day is Friday night as my partner does his own stuff out. I do the housework, watch TV, eat too many sugary things and like a glass of wine most then. Then the bottle is open for Sat/Sun. Or I manage till Sat after not buying wine with groceries and end up in small co-op buying chocolate and wine Sat night! My partner never really drinks except at social occasions now (weddings or that sort of thing).

    Morning All!

Well, a few days of not logging on and i've missed loads!!
Seems that there were a few struggles at the weekend. Hope you've all recovered and are feeling more positive about it. Maybe it was connected to the fact that we've had 2 lots of bank holidays and all of a sudden it was back to a 2 day weekend??

Lala - Sorry to hear about the impending redundancy. How's the job hunting going?

Kate - Welcome to the board . Everyone on here is so supportive.

I'm going to say this next bit at a whisper, but...........

There may have been a breakthrough in the Rainman household this weekend. MrR may finally be seeing sense.

Now I'm not going to get too excited as we've been here before but following a few discussions yesterday i have a good feeling about it. However, I will have to wait until this evening to see if he stops at the shop to buy wine. Fingers crossed!!

    Have a good day all!
