Bearacus, please could you put me down for the full 4 nights again this week.
I was not AF yesterday so will not make my target this month. It was probably a bit unrealistic of me anyway while things are so stressful. I think I probably need a bit of leeway on the weekend, so any chance of changing my target to 27 days please Shaggy. At least this will give me the option of having 1 night a week where I can drink if I want.LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

Hello all, please put me down for the full SNC Bearacus.
I managed to stay AF yesterday, usually enjoy plentiful red wine with Sunday dinner. Went to gym today too, so feeling quite pleased with self. That's 8 so far for me please Shaggy.
Good luck to anyone just starting on their AF journey, it's only been a week for me and seems like ages. For some reason i'e broken out in spots, maybe body getting rid of toxins that usually just get zapped by the alcohol??

Good luck jo1972-hope today/tonight is not too horrible for you. I know exactly where you are coming from bearacus because that is how I feel after a binge-guilty, hungover, ill and paranoid about what people think of me. Chin up and onwards and upwards as today is a fresh start
I'm trying so hard to stop going completely overboard with alcohol when I do drink-this weekend gone I managed it but I really need to work at it.

Good luck Jo on your challenge this eve, i really dont feel ive got any advice to give other than take it an hour at a time. I know in the past in an attempt to stop eating crap ive went to my bed super early to avoid the temptation. I will be on here this eve if you want to distract yourself with chit chatIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -

Would like to declare NO. 4 & 5 Please
I have decided not to drink Saturday night. I'd usually have at least half a bottle. I have to be honest though - it's more for calorie saving reasons than any other reason!0 -
I saw your thread yesterday and realised what a good idea it would be for me to cut down on drinking wine. I need to save the money and it's become a bit of a friend when I need to relax at the end of a difficult day. I'm sure this is how problems start. My other half also doesnt like the fact I get more argumentative with him sometimes when I drink and I fall asleep at 9-10 so he can't watch telly with me. I'm also hoping to feel a bit healthier and maybe not feel as bloated, podgy and spotty.
So tonight I'm sat here with a nice cup of tea, a bit of determination and the hope that it's not too late to join in.
My last glass of wine was last night. I soo didn't want to get up for work this morning.
Can I join the school night challenge too
